They're not bad, but they're not really great either; all seem to be either too crowded or too plain, and you really need to work on text, as well as blending the renders - they should look like they're built into the background, not like they're just stuck on top. They're very much beginner styles.

But still, not bad. Learn to optimize them into JPGs under 50kb - it's incredibly easy to do, there's instructions in the first post of the Help/Tutorial thread.

erm, they are definetley not the work of someone who has never made sigs before. An i dont believe that you made them in all in the time from that post to the time of the post were you said that the duel would be your first. Im not convinced you are new. Ill apologise if it is proven that you are, but as of yet, im not buying it.

I ran a sock check and he's clean...sometimes that doesn't mean anything, but finger pointing rarely helps either.

Regardless, you could at least be more thankful when someone tries to help. But if you want to remain at a good-but-not-great level forever, by all means, continue....bridges don't feel pain when they're burned.

An important question; what program are you using? If it's not Photoshop then I understand why you hate JPG so much.

And I agree, and is pretty much what I thought; no problem with dishing it out, but can't take any sort of criticism, as helpful as it is. If r2kphill is happy being at a beginner level, then whatever.

I know you both ran one but sock checks don't always work. Gut feeling's what i rely on and just the way this is doesn't feel right but i'll roll with it.

Err, no, no one's getting you back.

It's a simple fact - your sigs are not that great and are very much the work of a beginner. Everyone starts out at a beginner level. But there are those who are willing to accept the advice of those who are better than them and thus get better themselves, and those who stubbornly refuse to listen to any advice and just claim everyone is jealous of them. The latter is very much the actions of a sore loser.

Why don't you go post some of your sigs on an actual graphics site, like Gamerenders or ArtisticGFX? You'll find they're generally a LOT harsher than we are and WILL flatout tell you you suck.

gamerenders are harsh. he is actually lucky to have people has forgiving as us.

First of all....

Lana is one of the best, if not THE best sig maker on KMC. Take her advice in, and use it wisely.

Secondly, I'm a very hard marker and I'm going to say.... You're signatures aren't that great. I don't care for your blending, color matching, text, or area usage skills. Although, this can be improved. Look for a tutorial, and check out Dafont.com....

Also, stop being so mouthy...ermm....fingery...Typing....Skills.. Just stop bashing.

Also,You must consider yourself lucky to even get advice from a great sig-maker like Lana.

I'm going to say this in complete and utter honesty. I've never encountered you before, so, I have no bias against you whatsoever.

You're sigs are about on par with mine. Do not take that as a compliment. I am fully aware that my sigs are mediocre at best. Your text sticks out way too much, and many of your sigs are too empty, or to cluttered.

Essentially, work a little harder. Maybe you'll surpass a mediocre GIMP sigger.

r2kphill, you are a much better sig maker then I, and I advise that you keep up the good work. However, I want you to realize that Lana, and a few others who actually gave you advice on the your sigs themselves, were not trying to offend or insult you, just help you. In the future, you should reconsider ignoring other people's advice. And if you don't like it, a simple and polite "thanks, but no thanks" would suffice.

We had dropped it, you then kept it up.I'm going to stop now.My honest advice is that your sigs aren't that brilliant but you know how to blend colour wise but should look up some tutorials for some other techniques , i think you use photoshop or GIMP if you agree with me just PM me and tell me your program and i'll send you the tutorials i used when i was new.
