Is anyone else watching this on discovery right now? Honestly the best thing i have ever seen in HD on my television.

Solo
I definitely plan on watching it, should be great.

Ya Krunk'd Floo
I've seen the whole series, and every single episode is incredible.

I don't want to give too much away because there are some great surprises, but my favourite bits include: the jumping Great White in slow-motion, the dolphins, the opening sequence to Caves, the duck chicks in Seasonal Forests, the Vampire Octopus in Oceans Deep, and and and and and and and...Oh, f*ck it! Every second is amazing.

MildPossession
The whole series is wonderful, beautiful series.

Is it still playing? If so, what time? This sounds like it would interest me...

Do you guys have discovery in canada? It's on sundays at 8, but i think it gets replayed a lot.

The desert episode is on right now. The dryest desert on earth is in chile? Would not have guessed that.

General G
We get Discovery in Canada, so I am assuming it will be played. That means I missed yesterdays, I will make sure I check next week erm

And those clips alone look great, but I am sure it will look a lot better in HD. If it ends up not being on in Canada for some reason, then I will probably buy it, if it is on and I like it, then I will probably buy it anyways stick out tongue

They are showing the shark one right now, looks amazing. That is one unlucky seal.

All these shots of the humpback whales are awesome, I can't imagine being that close to a creature that is so huge. Are there any animals that mess with humpback whales?

Are there any animals that mess with humpback whales? Man is their worst enemy. However, they do have confrontations with other whales. Some of the defenses used are, filling their mouth with water or air so to bluff the invader into thinking they are bigger than they are. As a second line of defense they will use the head and fins as weapons. They also use their huge body as a defense mechanism by positioning themselves between the invader, like a boat, and mother and calf. (Kaufman 93-115).

That is an awesome self defense mechanism, filling up the mouth with water.

I might try that next time I run into trouble.

I'm watching the jungle episode right now, hilarious seeing these elephants blow bubbles in the water
