Damm Photobucket mad stick out tongue

Scathan the Approver(Earth-691) is the most powerful Celestial. He'll win

Tiamut, the Dreaming Celestial is the baddest(Earth-616)

Rarely saw the TOAA

IMO

1. Scathan
2. Tiamut
3. TOAA
4. Exitar

Terryc250
Scathan of course, although we've only see him once, during that one time his power was WAAAY beyond any Celestial

h1a8
TOAA is the strongest by definition. Otherwise Scathan would be TOAA.

Tenebrous
Scathan has more feats....OAA opened a black hole in front of mjolnir...and hurled planets at Thanos w/IG.

Guy, isn't Exitar>OAA?

h1a8
Definitions>>>>>>anything.

guy222
TOAA is the leader of the Celestials. He should be the most powerful one. IMO, Scathan=LT. Scathan wins this

My friend, I place TOAA over Exitar. If we go by feats between the two, Exitar>TOAA. TOAA has only been seen a few times. Such is the mystery of the wondrous Celestials

Feats don't disprove definitions. They don't even show that the other isn't capable of them. That is to say, how do you know that TOAA isn't capable of what Scathan did? And if Scathan is more powerful then why isn't he TOAA?

Because TOAA have never showed anything that rivals what Scathan did.

because we know that TOAA is the writer/artist that's why we know that TOAA isn't Scathan.

guy222
All any of us can go by is the appearances that they had

TOAA warped time and space. Threw planets easily at Thanos w/IG. Exitar has the power to destroy the entire Watcher race. Scathan is LT's equal.

Anything else about what they can do or not, is a theory

King Kandy
"TOAA" is a title. He's the leader. No one ever said it was the strongest that was the leader.

Wait where does it ever say that he used tech to restrain Protege? All it says is that he caught Protege in the "celestial Muzzle" and that could mean anything.

Larceny
I still don't understand what puts Scathan on LT's level?

King Kandy
Um yeah. That's the only reasonable position to take. We don't know anything about the celestial muzzle except that it restrained Protege. Never says tech. we don't know. Well if you're claiming that all celestials are above LT then you're way off base, we've seen that Scathan was up to the task. No one else was, only Scathan.

Larceny
Can someone please tell me what puts Scathan on an equal playing field with LT?

'a Celestial Muzzle', that happens to resemble/act like tech... could mean anything? Certainly it was just an energy attack that Scathan fired. It only happened to look like an machine-like muzzle.

And if I had the scans on hand, I believe they even referenced it (don't quote me on that).

I never said that they were (in fact, I believe Scathan is extremely overrated)... however, Celestial tech can blind Protege... what else could stop him when something tries to?

Didn't LT kill him with help from a low level (in comparison) amulet?

King Kandy
Didn't look like tech to me, it was a green energy sphere around his head, connecting to ones around his hands. Where's the tech part?

Mr. Slippyfist
Memory failed on the looks.

Anyway, he called it an "Opaque Celestial Energy Muzzle". Which seems to indicate any Celestial can do it... which means it's tech, or a common tactic among Celestials the GOTG are familiar with.

Plus... he owned Protege by blinding him. no expression
Certainly he's equal to LT.

King Kandy
Well whatever he used, it was >LT.

Terryc250
Protege copied LT's powers, and started pwning all the abstracts, eternity, etc, LT just couldn't/didn't do anytthing to stop Protege, Scathan then pwned Protege.

I'm talking about TOAA the celestial and not the supreme being.
Showing doesn't prove anything. TOAA can do anything Scathan can do and more. This is the writers intention.

Why wouldn't he? They're allied against Protege after all. And LT IS the ultimate judge, he decides the sentence.

I wouldn't take orders from a lesser being that's all. A sentence that is already more ore less in effect when Scathan disapproves of the situation. At that point he is the judge.

King Kandy
So what? Scathan respects LT. All cosmics respect LT. Just because you are stronger then someone is no reason to be a smartass and disobey all their requests. Captain America was weaker then the rest of the avengers but they all respected and listened to him.

Where do you see that because he respects LT's wish??? That just strike me they being more equal you respect a equal, also I don't think that a mortal perspective of respect and credibility is the same as when talking Cosmics. The power the individual possesses plays a role too.

King Kandy
LT made a request, Scathan complied with it. Why wouldn't he? They're on the same side.

Agreed, I was under the impression from your previous post that you thought LT commanded Scathan to realize Protege, My bad. ore was it me saying that confused I really should stop debating when I have worked 12 hours in a row makes me unfocused.

The Official Marvel Handbook actually says Scathan is more powerful than the LT. I don't know how true this is though.

I would like to see where it says that since I don't believe the handbook says anything of the sort. On-Panel he is though.

I didn't actually think Protege copied ALL of the LT's power until after I read that excerpt.

Tiamut

The feat aborted would've been a wonderous feat to behold. Setting back time almost 14 billion yrs. Incredible

Knowsbleed33
Uber feat. No more Eternals (Earth or Titan), Deviants and Skrulls, X-Men, FF, Avengers etc.

All Earth based super beings and ones that had their origins on Earth would cease to exsist. In fact, it would be like they never even exsisted.

Tiamut is a beast.

Writer didn't know their astronomy. Earth is only 4.6 billion years old. The solar system just under 5 billion. The universe itself is 13.7 billion.

Heh. wink "Flash Fact."

Knowsbleed33
I think that was the point. Tiamut was going to reverse space/time around Earth back to the beginning of the Universe. He says he was going back 13.7 billion years.

But there was no Earth 13.7 billion years ago. confused

They've seen things 11-12 billion lightyears away with high powered telescopes. And they can then tell what those things are, how long they took to form, and how long they've been there...

..Then they realize, well, why don't we see anything more developed and older in these far away systems, and viola.

But they aren't able to see the entire universe.

They've mapped it out though, via the cosmic microwave background radiation leftover from the Big Bang.

Also, I just read that they measure the age of the universe by viewing the expansion of other galaxies.

Positive. Trust me, I'm fantastic.

Sort of. Almost all galaxies move away from us. Called a red shift. The things we see through the high powered telescopes I was telling you about? Those are galaxies for the most part. Because they give off a lot of light...and to be seen from 10-12 billion lightyears away, you need a lot of light. By calculating their redshift...

Hehe. I didn't have astronomy in high school (I had Earth Space Science though), but did take it as a junior at university.
