What do you consider to be the best comics battle of all time?

For me, it was probably the original Doomsday Superman battle. It was long, hardfought, and had a climatic ending.

Fernus vs Plasticman

The whole idea of two shapeshifers fighting on that huge scale was awsome. Especially since they were phychological and physical foils to one another.

Spiderman vs Green Goblin
All of them.

I was going to say when Gwen died but yea Morlun was great too.
Also, Superman vs Captain Marvel in Kingdom Come and vs Batman in The Dark Knight Returns.

I love seeing Superman lose!

for me one of the personal favorite is the trial of the Phoenix. however i also enjoyed the second exiles weapon x battle. the one where hyperion is keeping an entire islan hostage
