Battalion

Battalion has strong telekinetic powers. He is able to move objects with the power of his mind, fire bursts of raw energy and form protective shields. When he was a member of Stormwatch Prime and Stormwatch One, he could only lift small objects and relied on his special costume to increase his powers. He could also feed his powers into his guns to increase their destructive force, but this was usually a desperation move; their destructive force was uncontrollable. In preparation of fighting Despot and his WarGuard, Jackson's control over his powers increased dramatically and he received a more advanced suit. Later still his costume became less bulky and even more advanced and only carried the guns occassionally; now he is able to use his powers more directly. He is also a strong telepath

Pffff.......top....and RESPECT Battalion...his father was the most powerful telepath that ever lived....and Battalion held his own against him.

All need Nathan do is affect Jacksons armor and right there his powers halves..

Battalion doesn't wear armor anymore....and what makes current Cable >>>>> than Despot??

It took two powerhouses (Battalion and Spartan) and a plot device to beat Despot.

Battalion would come up to Cable and TK punch his head off.

Battalion requires the armor for power enhancement, he needs that against Cable..

Really doough, what did Despot do that Cable has not done?

He cant mind control him, Nathan is far more faster, stronger, and more versatile in the use of Tk/tp..

You cant tk punch somethin that can produce tk shield strong enough to withstand nuclear fall out..

What is he going to do to affect the suit that Battalion couldn't block?? Wildstorm continuity calls Despot the greatset psi that ever lived....has Marvel continuity ever called Cable that???

I see u have Wetworks in your sig. A very inexperienced Battalion blocked Dane's TP/TK with no problem....and he's far more advanced now in the raw use of his power.

So like I was saying Battalion at least gets a draw here.

Jackson blocked a weak and dying Danes ( im pretty sure your referring to fires from heaven series ).. It took 3 Stormwatch members and staffs incl.. Battalion to stop Danes Onslaught when he attack Skywatch and this was an exp.. Battalion. Dane >>>> Batallion but thats a diff. topic..lol

Theres so many ways Cable can affect that armor, pure physical confrontation would do it the easiest way, Cable control over tech is another got to do w/ his new powers..

It doesnt really matter what Wildstorm say, its all about feats Cable outclassed Despot in that..

I forget the exact title of that first fight but Battalion kicked Dane's a$$ all over the place. And in the second fight on Stormwatch base...yea he used a little strategy....but he was still the one that shut him down in the end.

But the point is....King is much stronger than that now....there's not much to affect on his present suit if anything....and even if there was....he's so much stronger without the suit....that the minor boost the suit gives him would be more than enough to block what Cable might try.

And the guy wears Shades.... .... he's a bada$$ dood

That was a really good Wetworks thread btw...I did one but yours was better.

Battalion at least draws STILL imo.

Yeah your def. talkin about fires from heaven crossover.. Team 7's members had there mojo extracted thats why theyre dying, it was actually a big showing for Dane, going up against Jackson in his weaker state says a lot..

Still Nathan is more exp. in psi department than Jackson toward the points of even manipulating forms of energy kinetic, nuclear and the sort till i see Jackson shows that kind of skillz, ive got to say Cable above him and would take majority of the fight..
