StarCraft: The Beginning

This is the beginning when the first ship lands on the unknown planet after one of the others was destroyed. The other ship with the group landed on a seperate planet. We are all just drones in the confederacy and follow orders given much like Jim Raynor eventually does. There will be no zerg attacks until evryone who wants to makes their character. Also no overdoing it like "Kills thrity zerg and reloads" or anything like that. They are an unknown enemy and are currently immune to our weaponry. We will get an upgraded version later.

The ship had landed and the colony had started building a safe area for the inhabitants. The most valuable thing to the survival of the colonists. Withotu these materials there can be no weaponry and armor. An order goes out for anyone who can to try and hunt for materials anywhere they can find them. During the hunt for materials a team encounters a strange cluster of creaturs and attacks them when they see they are in control of a very large area of minerals. The entire team is lost save for one man who can only give the message before dying. This is where we all start off as the first gaurd in a new city made for mining purposes but it is like any other town. You may also be protoss but you can not interact with humans yet.

1.No God-Moding
2.No one hit kills on PC's or NPC's
3.Cerberates can die just like anyone else
4.No arguments
5.No pointless posts
6.Keep most of the ooc in the discussion thread.
7.Only the protoss and humans can make peace with eachother.
8.No ingame characters this is the beginning before they come around (Except for Edmund Duke)
9.You can take other weapons otehr than you own but you can't be a perfect shot
10.Try not to call in Goliaths or Seige-tanks too much they are a commodity.

Survivor01
Spike just lulled around the mess-hall of the base. Having not seen action since he had signed up for the instalation he was a bit jumpy and bored. Sighing he sat down at one of the lunch tables that were on the outer wall of the mess-hall. Even though he had no food he still acted like he had a reason to be there. No history of an attack had ever been recorded but the on-base rule was wear your armor at all times and keep your weapon on you at all times. "Nothing ever happens... It lcearly stated that "unknown creatures had been spotted but I haven't seen any action since.. we landed on this God forsaken planet." The images played vividly in his mind. He could remember seeing the other ship being destroyed by an unknown aggressor. His last memory before they had entered the orbit of the planet was watching the third ship go towards the plant across from them.

"Has the humans landed? What about the zerg? No? You sure? I do not trust your perception skills, scout. Shall I intercept them? They seem to be in a weak state! No encountering? Why? Who? Matriarch Raszagal? Well then. I will await.

FOR AIUR!"

The dark templar turned his back and walked away from the current location. Not was he sure what the humans had as intention, nor was he about why he should not intercept. His brute force could weaken the human siege. Giving them time always meant trouble. Matriarch Raszagal should know that by now. Xzotx was one of her eldest servants, why could she not trust him the way he trusted her?

"Waiting will only give us trouble, I swear it! I should rip the psionic pulse out of their soul while I still have the chance!"

Survivor01
A very sturn looking man was standing out in front of the marine of of Epsilon unit. "All Epsilon report to my position now!" A flurry of marines dressed in the overly depressing Red color that all confederacy trained soldiers were forced to where ran to the captain's postion except for one. "Where is Raynor!?" One of the smaller men of the line-up spoke. "He was transfered to the badlands region to be the Marshal of the area." The teamleader sighed and saw Spike was doing absolutely nothing. "Wyatt Get over here immediately!" Spike's head shot up from hearing his name called and he ran over to the commanding officer. "Wyatt, what is your unit?" Spike stubbornly replied. "Gamma sir!" The commanding officer grinned. "You are with us not Wyatt get geared up. We are going to figure out what took out Alpha squad." With that the small force of men marched out of the base and into the wilderness of the planet.

((Note this is not a full scal attack its just a scout party.))

the drones had began becoming creep colonies around the edge of the base for protection

Zerglings started to surround the entire scouting party. The goliath was the first to break the silence by firing its massive guns at the oncoming enemy forces. Spike opened fire with his nearly useles machine gun only grazing the oncoming zerglings. By the time Spike had even had the time to breath the first human casualty had happened. A marine layed on the ground with a zergling shredding the suit and his body. A firebat moved over to him and burned the zergling along with the marine. The captian yelled for a slow fall back. Spike did as ordered and slowly backed away firing at oncoming enemies.

Cerebrete watching threw zerglings as they fell back he ordered them to continue their assult and kill as many of the invaders as possible

Zergling advanced quickly charging the units

Survivor01
Gloiath-"Tapcom we need immediate reinforcements in the outer vicinity of Mar Sara military instalation."

Durant-"Everyone get in a box formation and move back toawrds the base.

Siege tank driver-"Locked and loaded Epsilon. Just get all the way back to outer gates and we will take out whatever is attacking you."

Zerglings were attacking from everywhere, some where even moving behind the unit and slowly taking members out. As all hope seemed lost for the the unit a dropship came from the distance. "Everyone into a defensive! Give that dropship plenty of room to land!" Everyone had group in a circle fighting off the oncoming slaughter of zerg.

Thunder Fox
cerebrete ordering the the hives at base to spawn Hydralisks as he up rooted two Hydralisks that were alread out there to help the Zergling attack

Cerebrete sent an over lord to scout more of the area

Survivor01
The dropship was only about thirty yards away when the hydralisks were first discoved.

Marine-"What the hell are those things!?" As he yelled the hydralisk used its acid and melted most of the still screaming marines head before biting it off.

Spike knew by the time the dropship was there most of the team would have been killed. The now damaged goliath stood up firing its missles on the oncoming zerg. "We have no chance."

Durant-"Everyone hold the line!"

Marie-Lee
"How strange. There is not supposed to be human activity around here" Kira said and observed the radar within her Warship. She recently had to give it an upgrade, considering the fact that she deserted the protoss base in a venture on her own. For all she could know, the protoss could be after her as well as the humans. "Well, let me give them a friendly greeting"

She raised her head and pushed the engage button within her Arbiter. "Unfortunatly, I am short on energy. A recall would otherwise have been of aid now" She pulled the machinery quite similar to a human joystick as a large photon round was launched trough the clouds and made impact, blowing two of the attacking zerglings into small pieces. "By Aiur, I hope they do not missunderstand this" She said as she launched another shot, scattering yet another zergling.

Watching the action bars within the warship, she hissed a wicked laugh. The radar indicated air income, but this was not to bother Kira. Looking out the data-screen she observed a Zerg Overlord. She shook her head "When will they ever advance" She launched a field of frost upon a couple of zerglings and some of the hydralisks froze into large cubes, incapable of moving. Slowly, she made her way down from the clouds in order to make entire visual on the humans.

Thunder Fox
Cerebete watched therew its minions eyes as the enemy fell fast then lose quicly to a protoss ship it focused on base to prepare for a possible counter attacks by changing creep colonies in to spore and Sunken colinies around his base and ordered more drones to gather minerals as his hydralisks were being spawned

Survivor01
Goliath-"TAPCOM we have an unknown flying craft heading in our direction.. as far as I can see it is trying to help."

Durant-"We can't have anymore enemies right now.. don't fire on it unless it fires on us!"

The dropship had landed and was allowing everyone to board. With only eight seat on its that lef three that would have to huff back to the base. Spike volunteered to be the runner as well as Durant and another marine. The dropship took off and headed back for the base. Spike, durant and the marine started to run back in the direction of the base. Tjhe goliath waited unitl they were about 50 yards away before it ran backwards firing all of its weapons in a last effort to slow them down.

Thunder Fox
cerebete sending four mutalisks out to intercept the arbiter and more hydralisks to to finish off the rest of the human force

mutalisks screeched as they flew after the protoss

Survivor01
A sinlge Valkyrie stormed over the cliffs toawrds the mutalisks knowing that she would be shot down she still flew towards them firing at ones head. Spike shuddered at what the valkyrie had just done. "There is a zero percent chance she will get out of there alive.." He kept running towards the base.

Marie-Lee
"Seem like the terran forces retreated and the zerg forces are advancing fast. I better call this a night" She checked her bars and the meters upon them.
"- Plasma shield, check
- Cannons, check
- Energy, low.
I will have to land" She shook her head and scouted the area. This current location were not safe enough. Not with the zerg. She could currently not return to the protoss either. That leaves one choice. Without thinking much, she lifted up high in the air, hoping to outrun the incoming units. "I hate zerg. They are such..... zergs" She shook her head and followed the dropship that had loaded the humans. The only choice, and hopefully they would not take her down upon approach. "Not much of a base" She laughed as she could see the terran establishment in the distance. She was passed by a Valkyrie. At first, it startled her. She hated anti-air warships. It passed her and went towards the incoming mutalisks. "Her funeral" Kira said. "I could help, but I am unfortunatly low on energy" Kira said to herself, sighing. She made approach to the base and closed her eyes in a prayer that she would make it inside alive.

Thunder Fox
they all stooped and started fireing directly at the foolish terran taking it out in the matter of seconds then screeched heading back on course

Cerebete losing patients gatering all spare forces around the map to gather at one spot

Survivor01
Durant was on his radio. "Do not fire on the incoming Protoss vessel, I repeat do not fir on incoming vessel!" As Durant yelled he was grabbed and pulled in a tight crack between to rocks. An invisble figure held one finger to his mouth attempting to get him to shut up. It was a s ghost and as the plan was the ghost armed a nuke for where he believed the zerg would be when it hit. Grabbing Durant and signaling to Spike to follow they all ran back towards base. Spike spoke up first. "What is the nuke overshot?" The ghost calmly replied. "Well then we're screwed.."

Thunder Fox
as the force gathered it started to advance the nuke landed in the area wiping most of the force out in a bloody mess leaving a hydralisk and a wounded Ultralisk the cerebete be came up set but called off its advance

Survivor01
Spike, the ghost and, Durant all made it to the main gate into the base. The wall was far too massive to climb. "Open the door!" A marine shouted back. "Under whos orders!?" Spike was angry and yelled. "Open the door or he will nuke it open!!" Durant calmly said. "Get this door open now!" The door swung open and the remaining force ran inside. After they were safely on the inner part of the base the door sealed closed. Walking to the open roof area of the base he could see the lab techs were testing the shield generators for the top of the base.

Marie-Lee
Kira was rather surprised by the passive behaviour from the humans but decided to take the chance at hand. She flew on top of the human base and pushed the button that would active passive mode, making it hoover on top of the human base. She got up from her seat and walked trough the ship. She went into the machinery section of it and opened a hatch. She unloaded four canisters and carried them to the other side of the machinery section. She loaded them inside another hatch, where they would eventually be fully recharged. Meanwhile, she picked two reserve canisters up and loaded the Arbiter with them.

She walked trough the ship again and deactivated everything but the hoovering mechanism. She then walked up to the transportation pad and pulled a lever. "By Aiur, I adore this ship" She said as her body was turned into a blue dust and she was beamed down from the ship and appeared in the middle of the terran base, unarmed and with as good as no clothing at all. She took a look around and got to admire the terran race. Despite their slow evolving, they still put up such a resistance to the protoss race. Their technology was so far back, despite the fact that Kira was cunning in mechanics she barely knew what half of their stuff was, except for the war equipment. The war equipment she was more than very aware of. She had fought many of those in her days.

Survivor01
Almost anyone with a weapon in the out-area of the base had their weapon pointed directly at her. Even lab techs who were supposedly unarmed had some kind of weaponry waiting to fire. Spike ran up to her and aim his weapon back and the Terran who thought she was hostile. The ghost and Durant followed suit along with the entire dropship of marines until a succesful cloister was around her. "None of you will harm her! She saved all of us from ongoing zerg and we owe her our lives." At this Spike set his weapon on his back and offered to bring her to somewhere safer.

Marie-Lee
She raised her left hand towards Spike and nodded gently at him. "By Aiur, it is an honor to meet a friendly face, commander" Kira said and turned her head at Spike. She had a look around at all the weapons that had been targeted at her. She was unarmed and as good as naked. What thread could she possible do to them, she wondered. She took her head away from the rest and turned it back at Spike "Kira is the name"

Survivor01
Spike nodded at Kira and replied. "My name is Spike Wyatt. I'm a 1st Seargent in this base. If you didn't notice the giant sign this Mar Sara. Let's go over here to the Mess-Hall.. I'm starved." He gentely grabbed her hand and started to lead her to the dining area. Everyone seemed a bit on edge but accepted the fact that she was peaceful. "Pitiful how they will surely grab their weapon on a lone protoss but when it comes to Zerg they all hide in the base.."

Marie-Lee
"Who can blame them? The zerg has a bit more hostile look to them" She said, hissing a careful laugh. She followed Spike to the mess-hall but was rather confused on why he had taken the action of holding her hand. She decided to consider it human manners and did nothing about it. She followed him as they entered the hall. She had a look at him and outside for a second. "My ship is low on energy. Can I establish a resting ground here with your men until the energy has been refueled. I understand you might be uncomfortable with an enemy race within your own lines of defense and I respect that uncomfortability. A refuel and I will be on my way"

Survivor01
Spike nodded at her and pointed his side-arm at a lab tech. "Deactivate the upper shield and let her land. The lab tech freaked out and did what he had been ordered too. The shield turned off and Spike looked at Kira. "Go ahead it should be able to get in with no problem.

Marie-Lee
"Thank you, commander. By Aiur, this will not be forgive" She said and removed her hand from his and turned around. "I will be back in a moment. I left remote equipment on the inside of the ship to make sure everyone saw me as unarmed" She walked trough the door of the mess-hall and out to the open field of the base. She had a look around and noticed how everyone kept staring at her as she walked. She just lowered her head and shook it a slight bit. "Native minds" She said quietly as she stood beneath the ship who direction intercepted her location and automaticly beamed her up into it.

She stroke her hand against the wall on the inside of the ship as she walked up to the cockpit. She did not bother sitting, as she had no intention of staying in the ship long at all. She activated a few systems and the Arbiter slowly lowered itself into the terran base. She could see the hostility in the terran's eyes but she would have to put up with it. She sighed as the Arbiter now hoovered only about one meter away from the ground, as she walked back to the center of the ship. She placed her hand on a pad, who analyzed her hand pattern and a little hatch opened beneath her. She leapt down from the ship and touched the ground, crawling out under the ship and stood up straight next to it. The hatch closed and she stood still for a moment, looking around at all the eyes meeting her and the ship. Some even tigthtened their grip to the gun, but she ignored it and headed in the direction of the mess-hall once more.

Survivor01
Spike sat down at one of the many lunch tables and let out a deep sigh. Thinking no one else was around he muttered. "I came here to fight zerg.. now that I have I wanna go back to Chau Sara.." He leaned up and sat in a more propper postion waiting for the female protoss to return. "I remember what happened at Tarsonis.." Snapping back into the real-world as soon as Kira had walked inside.

Darth Extecute
((Edit.. Sorry about this.. Wrong thread no expression ))

Marie-Lee
"The Arbiter is by the ground. I higly appreciate this, commander" She said as she walked inside. "You have my apology, as I did not intend to cause such a scene" She stopped next to him and shook her head. "I must say that I often prefere being armored on the ground, but I felt that brining my battle armor would give the wrong intentions" She walked across the table and sat down in front of Spike. She looked him into the eyes and placed both elbows on the table, leaning her head against her hands who was meeting it. "Why?" She asked "Why did you trust me?"

Survivor01
"While I was scouting out in the badlands I was saved by a Protoss zealot. When is asked him why he saved me even though we were enemies, he just told me that not all things are as they seem and he then rejoined his unit.." He sighed, stood up and walks over to a small looking bar and pulled out a beer. "Do you want anything? Or do Protoss even eat or drink?" He returned to the table waiting for her reply.

Marie-Lee
"Thank you, but I have no need to consumate what you humans do. We have reached too far in evulotion to have the certain needs that you and your men have" She said, giving out a hissing giggle. "Well, I guess you are a living proof that blood is not always the one exit. I repeat that I am highly honored to be with your presense." She leaned across the table and looked him into the eyes. They were admireable. Much more in detail than hers and the rest of the protoss race. She had never been this close at range with a human before and they sure had their charms.

Survivor01
"Evolved beyond the need? I hope you did evolve to far.." The heavy sound of a landing drop-ship could be heard from even in the Mess-hall. Spike looked worried and grabbed the rifle off of his back. "We weren't sceduled for reinforcements at the base.." He slowly moved to the door of the area before he heard gun-fire. The door he was about to open became riddled with gun-fire. "Get down! Damnit how did the Sons of Korhal find us all the way out here?"

Marie-Lee
"Too far? What do you mean?" Her question was canceled when someone opened fire.

"You are at war with your own people, commander?!" She said a slight bit annoyed. This was something she would prefere knowing. If there were any expectation of hostility, she would have brought her combat suit down from the ship and gone into it. She quickly got up from where she was seated and threw herself behind a counter. She heard the incoming rounds and calmly spoke to Spike. She was not ready to die here and now. If she was ever to die, it would be within her Arbitor.

"Arbitor" She whispered, kind of worreid what would happen to it. She placed her hand by her waist, about to grab the remote control and activate the plasma shield. She felt around her waist and sighed. "Of course. It is inside Arbitor" She slapped her forehead, as the only thing to do now was hoping for the best.

Survivor01
Spike burst threw the nearly slagged door of the the mess-hall firing at the Sons of Korhal that he could see in the open. Their white armor made them as painfully obvious as the confederate red did. He moved to where his squad leader was. "What can I do?" The commanding officer laughed and sarcastically replied. "You could start by killings our enemies.." Firing madly Spike tried to kill anyone on their side firing at the first movements he saw. A marine had made it to one of the siege tanks and just as the battle had started it was already over. Spike let out a deep sigh of relief and when he heard a huge crash he knew what the tank had aimed for. "Oh.. she is going to be PISSED."

Marie-Lee
Kira peaked up from behind the counter. She at first barely had the courage to do so, not sure who was the victorious of that not too long battle. Where was the quality of today's battle anyway? A protoss one could have lasted for hours. She shook her head and laughed quietly to herself. She leapt up on the counter and sat down by the edge when she saw Spike standing by the door. She looked at him. "The battle is over already?" She said and gave out a hissing laugh.

Survivor01
Spike looked worried and turned around to face her blocking the view of her ship. "So.. how close were to that ship of yours?" He puched her back inside the door and sat her down. He looked very stressed and sat down opening his beer. "Don't go outside..."

Saikon had sent two Overlords down to the planets surface to survey his fellow Cerebrates efforts at fighting the Bipeds. So far, he was not pleased.

"Having some trouble, are we?" He mockingly said over a telepathic link.

"Maybe my broods will have more success at fighting the Human infestation on this planet..."

Saikon had possessed a grudge against the other Cerebrate for a while, ever since the Overmind had chosen his rival over him. How could the Overmind have not seen the Cerebrates incompetence?

Saikon's thoughts were interrupted by the great Overmind itself, who had obviously been heard what Saikon was thinking.

"Do not fret, Saikon. You will get your chance to prove yourself to me soon enough." The Overmind boomed into Saikon's thoughts.

"Yes, your excellency. I am sorry for having doubted you." Saikon said, then remained silent; content to watch the events happening on the surface of the planet.

The COMM screen on the station flickered on and a human appeared on the otherside. "This is Seargent Durant of Mar Sara Base. I request that you immediately send reinforcements.. Commnader? Damn.. Alright listen up boys. We are heading up to the orbital space station." The COMM screen flickered off.

Zalrez slithered across the creep, its coldness nourshihed his body, he had been in many fire fights since the strange beasts with their loud hands that spat hot spines out of them came to their world, he did not understand them, peculier things...while most of the other Zerg simply followed command Zalrez had a strong mind of his own and often thought to himself. large bleeding wounds lay in his side and his cobra-like hood spread outward had blood stricking from small holes these beasts had fires their peculier spines through...they were not like my spines he thought to himself and he tensed and pushed them out of his body, his skin healed as the Creep touched him

Zalrez wanted to rip into their flesh, taste their blood in his mouth and feel it on his body.....part of him screamed to fulfill the will of the cerebrate and the Overmind, but his other side of his mind thought of his own needs, his own ravenous heart, Zalrez wanted revenge on these beasts

Marie-Lee
She leaned her head to the side and looked at Spike in a confused and slightly annoyed look. "I love it. I truly love it" She then frowned annoyed "Why do you ask?" She said and placed her hand against his chest and making both of them walk closer to the outer door. "What will I see if I walk trough that door and what will I find out if I run an investigation?" She said and grabbed the switch that would open the door, but did not open it before she had gained an answer from Spike.

Survivor01
Spike just looked worried. A gruff man was out side and was yelling. "Alright boys! We need volunteers to head up to the station to figure out what is going on! Who is willing to go!?" Spike's head shot up and he hit the switch. "Uhh... thats my ride.."

Kira had a look outside when the door ran open. She glared of to the center of the field of the base and placed her hand over her head after she had gained the sight. "By Aiur! No!" She almost weeped out as she stood still, staring at the Arbitor that now had crashed and touched the ground, having a hole trough the armor and scraps along the ground. It was not anger she felt. Sorrow, morelike. She slowly walked out into the base and up to the warship. She bended down, picking up a minor piece of all the things that was scattered along the ground. "Seems like I will be here longer than expected" She said and started collecting pieces into a pile, instead of have them spread over the base.

Zalrez had enough nourishment from the Creep...he slivered, moving across it with his large claws, however trying not to break it he punctured small holes which was a nuisance, he could never get properly used to using four legs, he often took the usual Hydralisk pose with his tail and back legs holding him in a straight position and slivered but it was often uncomfortable. He opened his mouth and vomited a black slime, the bones of this mornings lunch lay mangled and the creep dissolved it at the same time as it regenerated the holes Zalrez had made, this should also give nourishment to the hatcheries and hives

Zalrez left the safety of the Hive, an overlord tried to push its will onto Zalrez who had the strength at the moment to block it out, he wanted to move freely to catch more prey, a Corinix, a small lizard like creature was jumping along a rocky ledge but was cought and pinnend to a slab of hard earth by an acidic spine, the creature turned to liquid and Zalrez drank, hunting was what he did instead of simply waiting for orders from a cerebrate, the nutrician often made him stronger than many other zerg and regenerated his flesh, it may also allow him at times to strengthen his bile which he spat at his foes. Zalrez was fidgety and walked back through into the hive, laying across the creep once more, the earth on his feet was less comfortable and he craved the coldness of the creep

Survivor01
Spike turned around to face Kira collecting the pieces of her ship. "I am truly sorry Kira.. I didn't want to know your ship had been damaged." Placing his gun on armed and put his helmet down locking it into place. The rest of the off-duty marines force seemed to have been prepped for the mission they were about ot imbark on. He sighed and got into the dropship. "Sorry..." The ships that were filled with their correct units flew up towards the space area disignated for the station.

Tjulosk arrived to the planet he was last told to via shuttle. The pilot dropped him off at the base and left. There was a small group of Protoss here, but there were already some templars here... most may not have been high templars but they were still templars and enough of them to make decisions on their own. He started to head to the main building, not questioning his orders any further.

Xotzx returned to the main base of the protoss. He made growling noises to himself as he walked trough the base. He deactivated his stealth and walked up to the Nexus of the protoss base. He walked trough the entrance and walked up to the comsat room. He walked up to the center table and placed both hands on the table. He took a look around, at all the machinery on the inside. He opened a link to the current leader and sighed.
"Why can we not strike the terran now? What more is needed? We should crush them now, before they grow strong. They are at their weakest state. If we wait, things only get worse" He said and lowered his head, clenching his fists. He looked down at the floor "Matriach... I don't understand" He sighed.

Marie-Lee
"Before you leave. Could I maybe have some......." She watched how the dropships took of into the skies and disappeared out of sight. She shook her head "Never mind" She said and walked into her ship trough the hole that was created by the tank. She searched it and activated the plasma shield again. She could not be too careful now as she would not afford have it more damaged. This could take days to repair. "I could have been on my way by the evening. But now?" She sighed "Next week. Poor poor Arbiter" She said, stroking her hand along the side of the ship. She walked into a drobe and closed the door after her. Seconds later, the door opened and a fully armored Kira walked out of the door. She had an advance Protoss armor with all the latest components.

She stepped out of the ship again and grabbed a piece of scrap from the remainings of the ship. She analyzed it and pushed it against a hole in the ship. She ignited her energy blade and started slowly melting the piece into the ship. "Becursed, native, blasted, foolish humans" She mumbled quietly to herself, making sure to make no misstakes with the melting.

Burning thought
The Zergling/hydralisk variant had been in a sort of stasis, since he wasnt needed he burrowed beneath the earth and slept for a period of time, the creep formed a sort of sack for him. Zalrez awoke now to the calling of an Overlord, it knew of a small camp full of the new biped creatures who had wounded Zalrez before and now called together a group of zerglings and hydralisks to destroy them for the Terran camp was too close to the hive, he had not the strength to repel the order or ignore it and so he motioned, his mind overflowed with the urge to obey.

Zalrez formed a group, ofcourse being a variation he was unique and the others kept clear of him as far as they could while still staying within the group, a group of Zerglings leapt around him and clawed him, the other Zerg although following the will of an Overlord were still confused to this new variation and often took Zalrez as hostile, which wasnt far from the truth because as the Zergling clawed him he moved with extreme ferocity and bit off its head, leaving its body to dissolve into the creep, the others leapt back into the group and understood their standing and so by the will of the overlord Zalrez and a group of Zerg lept off, keeping low to the ground towards the Terran camp.

The Zerg, Nearing the camp were spotted, Zalrez and the Hyrdralisks were difficult to miss, the Terran started to launch off their hot spines from what seemed their hands to Zalrez and he let out a terrorfying roar as he and his group scrambled across the earth, assaulting the humans. A pair of firebats let loose their streams of heated plasma flame into the onslaught as the zerglings breached the walls, incinerating them "hehe burn em up lads, roasted Zerg for ya sarge" one of them spoke into his com channel. Zalrez was dismayed and confused but also in fury, he leapt upon his hind legs, allowing them and his tail to hold his weight and took aim, he launched a large mass of corrosive bile onto the body of the firebat, his screams echoed throughout the channel as it ate through his mask and helmet and through his face, the plasma fuel on his back exploding killing several others and clearing the way for the zerg through the wall.

Hydralisks launched Acidic barbs into a private who was pinned, then leapt onto them to tear them to pieces, arms, legs..pulled from their sockets by the strength of the hydralisks. Zalrez began to enjoy himself, chassing after the seargeant who ran into his quarters, he was fumbling bullets into his F22 Magnum in fear but before he could push the last in and set the gun to fire Zalrez slashed his head clean off, his dusty grey overalls did not protect him from the Variations blades, he sent his monstous tongue down the hole where his neck used to connect and drank fluids, explosions were happening all around him, smoke and fire leapt up on the tent that Zalrez was enjoying his meal from inside and the screams around him allowed the animal inside to take control, his blood thirst and rage pushed him out of the tent to look for more prey, he found it, a few squads of marines screaming orders to one another through the madness of battle to get onto a dropship hovering over the ground, however they were too slow, just as the ship started to take off Zalrez launched himself through the air, sending a bladed arm through the glass of the screen as well as the bodies of each of the two pilots steering the craft, he threw them out of the cockpit and moved through the small ship, making shrieks and noises among the screams of the marines now farstened into their seats and unable to move as he lacerated and slashed into them.

Zalrez was enjoying himself too much however, he did not realise the ship was out of control and it flew down through a small valley, straight into the ground, exploding, its fuel setting light to the area. The Variant was thrown, through the air and landed in a heap, his body badly damaged and an arm missing, he was alive, but barely yet his body recovered, the Zergs regenerative skin and flesh knitting his broken bones and regrowing missing limbs, however Zalrez was vulnerable

Survivor01
The dropship made their steep ascent into space. Glowing red hot as they passed through the ozone of the planet and their propulsion slowed greatly once they were in space. The slow drift was unbearable to Spike as he had to wait on the ship before he even gets to go into the station. The station slowly came into sight and the ship slowed until it arrived at the docking port. A shield came over the opening in the station and the pressure was restored. Spike let out a sigh as the large door opened and the marines piled out of the dropship. It was earily quiet and the fact that no one was even in the station proved suspition was needed. Spike just stood in the docking area until one of the marines told him to follow to the recreational section. Upon arriving in the area to his dismay was corpses torn to pieces everywhere. Almost instantly he was in a defensive postion. "Sarge! We are gunna need back up from the base immediately. Wyatt out."

Reports from his Overlords informed Saikon that a Human force had landed on the Orbital Base. In his mind he formed what Humans would call a smile.

He sent telepathic orders to hsi Overlrods, who then relay the emssages to hsi other minions. Creep Colonies were foremd, and once formed would morph into Sunken Colonies. He currently had two Hatcheries, a Lair, and a Hive, and with those he created an army of Zerglings and Hydralisks. He burrowed half of his force outside of the DOcking Port, and saved the rest for reinforcements.

Survivor01
Spike felt uneasy as he slowly crept through the station. Most of the functioning light were covered in thick creep and any others were mostly broken. Noticing a terminal on the wall Spike walked over and tried to hack into the system. All he could get with his very limited skill was the camera fucntions. The video played through showing greusome deaths of marines by the Zerg. On the lower left side of the screen a light flashed say "1 Com station active". Spike looked confused but came to the realization. "There may be someone alive on the station..." He clicked his radio on and spoke. "This is Sargeant Wyatt. I request permission to lead my men deeper into the station. We may have found a survivor. Please respond." He let out a sigh lifted his gun and waited for a reply.

Burning thought
Zalrez cought a glimpse, a vision, it was as if a cerebrate was talking into its mind, or was it the Overmind itself. The Variation could not determine which but it was calling for him to move to what looked like a station, out of the reaches of the planet he was on, he had not gone offworld before nor wanted to but this vision and force in his mind pushed him, he screeched, his form had almost compeltly regenerated, lucky that a Terran patrol did not somehow spot him and finish him off but like all Zerg, he regenerated in time from what damage was dealt. The screech he let forth called an Overlord from the nearby hive

The Overlord took Zalrez into its body, there Zalrez slept as if in stasis, fully healed now by the time the beast took him to the station. it moved besides a hole in the station and opened its body to release Zalrez, who scraped across noisily in the metal shaft of the station he was moving through, he could sense through his acute senses life within this hulk, and perhaps another cerebrate was nearby, seemingly dormant, he moved towards its source, but also another source of life, unlike zerg signiture and so he crept low, trying to move quietly incase of danger

Survivor01
Spike had moved into the sleeping quarters and had spotted nothing. "All clear." He moved into the hallway and slowly crossed by a very large window where a Overlord passed by. Ducking down as soon as he saw it he crawled to a door that said security checkpoint. Going inside he sat down at a computer terminal that seemingly still functioned propperly. He rebooted the lighting system and everything in the station seemed to come to life. "Sir we just got power back.." From the other side of the COMM was a haunting noice. "*Gunfire* Wyatt, do not come back to the docking bay we are being overwhelmed... *More gunfire* Move to Rec Beta and meet up with what's left of Delta Squadron. *Gunfire drowns out the rest of the message*"

Burning thought
The Variation smashed upwards, causing an erruption of echoes throughout the station and crawled through a section of flooring as he started hearing the explosiosn and fire, in his quickness to escape where he thought it was coming from he smashed past a peculier being, knocking the somewhat peculier thing over. His bestial rage did not take over this time, although it he recognised it as a beast from the planet he ignored it, thinking cunning should be used in favour of madened rage and strength.

Zalrez kept moving through a few floors and crawled down a passageway to prepare to advance on what he had hit earlier, he kept close and silent as he moved through endless wires, pumps and tubes on the sides of the walls

Survivor01
Spike rushed down the hallway with his handfull of Marines close behind covering all directions. They all moved to a small elevator and Spike did a head count. "six.. seven.. eight.. nine and ten. Alright five of you in the elvator!" Five of the marines rushed into the elevator and five remained behind. The elvator crept up through the shaft. Zerg started to run down the hallway at the remainder of marines. "Fire!" The marines opened fire on the oncoming zerg killing a few of them. The close quarters allowed for automatic fire. The elevator opened up and the remaining marines boarded and went up. Spike got out of the elevator and stood with the first group and as the last person was leaving the elevator a hydralisk melted the wire sending him to certain death. "NO!" They all opened fire on the Hydralisk tearing it to pieces.

Burning thought
Zalrez could sense the battle, he moved and broke through some flooring, he heard a loud crash and the calls of Zerg, he moved quickly and with his acute eyes he could see far down the corridors, further down he saw a host of marines. The Variation started to charge at them, roaring it let loose a hail of spines, slashing into the armour of two of the marines at the same time as spitting out a gob of caustic acids which floaded through the body of another marine, screaming. With a roar and screech he moved sending forth his scythe like arms into marines around him, his deadly blades cutting through their suits as gunfire was let loose into him, he turned his head to face who seemed to be the leader

Survivor01
Spike fired on the variation of the zerg and noticed his weapon was almost useless. "Marines follow me to the objective! We don't have the fire-power to fight htis thing!" Running down the corrider with the two marines that had survived the slaughter he made his way for a large door that had Rec Beta on it. The door opened and a Marine in a black colored armor was standing at the door. His weapon was far larger than Spikes and he fired at the xenomorph following the marines. He shut the door and moved a vending machine in front of the door. "C'mon kid.. we don't have long before that thing rips through that door.."

Burning thought
Zalrez made a terrible hissing sound and smashed through the ceiling at the sight of the larger marine, he was slightly wounded, their weapons seemed not as powerful as some he encountered although ofcourse these were simply their warriors, not their larger beasts he thought to himself, ignorant to the fact that he battled Goliath assault units before and felt their punch.

The Variation coiled its tail as its body regenerated a few holes in it, he moved down to the blooded remainds of the bipeds and started to bite holes in the remains to nourish his strength, although he was not badly wounded, he did not think he was ready to assault the door just yet, the beasts inside shouting to eachother confused him, although the smell of them made him feel bloodthirsty and hunger for them, he moved quickly and hit against the door, it wasnt enough, and so he tried again and again, slamming his weight against the bulkhead until he felt it slwoly start to give way, he pushed his barbs through the metal.

Survivor01
The marines then smiled and shouted. "Boys gather round and see how a Delta gets things done!" At that he forced his weapon into a hole and fired until it was empty. "Now everyone move!" All of the remaining marines charged into the next area firing at any lowly zergs in the area. They tried to avoid most of the larger though to conserve ammo. They came to a door labled Security Command Center. They opened the door and were greeted by two ghosts hiding behind a counter. Blood was everywhere and the alarm was on. The security cameras were all out and he attempted to turn any on. "Nothing.. How secure is this room?"
One of the Ghosts replied. "Strong enough to keep the zerglings out."

Burning thought
Zalrez bled, the gun that fired upon him would of killed him if it had hit his head but luckily only his chest had multiple burning holes through it, he was still very confused, beasts that fires hot spines out of their hands..he moved his legs back and used his tail to push himself to a standing position, tail and legs holding him up, he used his zergling like arms and 3 fingered claws to look at the damage done, a few minutes of regneneration would fix it, but that woud be too long and he was more intelligent to try to bound at a door again by himself so he cut his way through the ceiling and moved through a few floors.

The Variation found the coldness of some creep, infesting the stations higher levels, the further he went the more creep he found and he lay on it, feeling it move across his body, healing him faster than his natural regeneration could manage, his body was full again, and nearby he growled at a pair of hydralisks and a small group of zerglings to follow him, they smashed down through the hole he had made, throwing away any sense of stealth, they simply wanted blood and so did Zalrez, letting his animal take over, he joined the Hydralisks to dismantle the door, they smashed against it, stronger than the last but holes started to open, he moved aside, not to get cought again by weapon fire, he let the hydralisks and Zerglings lead

Survivor01
Spike knew that the Variation had torn through the door. Deep in his mind he knew that it could smell his blood and would find him again. "Is there a way off this hell hole?" Spike looked tired and waited for a reply. The Ghost laughed and spoke. "Yeah but its in the southern docking bay.." Spike laughed sarcastically. "We are in the northern section." The ghost placed his helmet down and laughed who said we have to walk it?" He tuned and fired at the window in the room depressurizing the room. They all had their helmets down and jumped onto the outer area of the station grabbing a ladder meant to help stabalize.

Burning thought
Zarez and his group smashed through the door, expecitng weapon fire as the hordes of zerglings poured through in madness they were simply now facing an empty room, a Zergling strangely floated up into the air and out of an open window, screeching, Zalrez was not interested for a moment, not for the things life anyway but then the notion spread to him and he told the others through thought that thats the way they must have gone, into space. He knew he was more adapted to moving in an airless environment than Zerglings, as were Hydralisks and so he sent them through the hole to follow their prey. Zalrez himself broke as he often had before through a weak part in the ceiling, trying to listen for the sounds of the beasts, he followed the sound of heavy footfalls, which could not be a Zerg, not this fast could hydralisk slither, and so he prepared to hit through the wall to surprise the things as they moved.

Survivor01
Spike, two marines and one of the ghosts had made it to the docking-bay door. A message was splayed across the screen. "Warning must equalize pressure before the doors can open." Spike sighed and spoke into the COMM. "Just our luck boys we have to wait for this thing to open up.. Everyone cover a different direction." Spike assumed a defensive and waited for the others to comply.

Saikon got impatient, waitign for the Humans to walk into hsi trap. He sent the Zerg that weren't burrowed into the Docking Port.

Survivor01
With the zerg tearing through the doors of the docking bay it left Durant little choice but to move forward. "Alright everyone this is our time to shine! We are going to push the infection back and we survive! You hear me marines!?" All the marines seemed to have a moral boost and quickly responded. "HOORAH!!" All of the marines then charged the oncoming zerg opening fire.

Burning thought
Zalrez heard the madness in the docking bay and broke through the ceiling, just catching a marine on the end of his claw, cutting it through the middle of the head, as the two halves of the head slipped either side inside the glass helmet, the variation dropped and crushed down the body, he reared as pouring zerg rushed besides him and quickly started moving through them, he went on hind legs and let loose a stream of bile burning through several marines.

The marines screamed as the bile took effect, Zalrez then smothered and silenced their screams with his own screeches as he let loose acidic barbs into their bodies, there were still a handful of the group left, two elite looking marines with diffrent rifles were launching high powered shells into the zerg, Zalrez cought a shell in the leg and in rageing he leapt, finding their elite status not well earned, their light protection no match for Zalrez and his barbed hooks bursting forth through the "Ghost" as he was called in human tongue, the man unable to scream as shock took him over, just as he realised he couldnt feel the lower parts of his body

Zalrez joined once more the Zerg, pouring forth onto the terrans

Survivor01
Durant saw the variation and threw down his weapon. He pulled up his fists looking as if he is about to fist fight the creature. A grin slid across his face as he said. "Bye." Taking off towards a distant hallway he found the door sealed. He pulled down his mask and activated the light on his shoulder. Pulling his side arm out he waited for the coming onslaught. As the zerg rushed towards his postion the door behind him slid open and he took his chance to crawl through. Forcing the door low enough that zerg couldn't crawl under he truned around to see a medic.

Burning thought
Zalrez was infuriated, slamming its head onto the hard doors, he looked up for weaknesses in the ceiling to smash through but could find none, he would just simply have to wait until the door opened or was smashed down by his headbutting as well as the hydralisks pouring around him, most of the marines were dead and the zerglings were chewing on the corpses, but one had escaped, and Zalrez could smell it, he wanted its flesh

Survivor01
The door finally opened and spike went into the Southern Docking Bay. One transport was left but there was no sign of zerg in the area. "Wierd.. I thought they took the whole station. Floating down to the ground alon with his remaining unit the door fianlly shut and the atmosphere and gravity was restored. They all set down and got into the transport. "Wyatt.. This is Durant. I'm somewhere in Rec. Central... Spike was happy to here a fmailiar voice and replied. "Put down your helmet I'll tear through the wall with the tranport."

Burning thought
The variation broke its bonds, whatever made it want to chase the humans in the satelite had gone slightly cold, although he wanted vengeance the more cunning side of him knew that his prey was simply going back to planet via some sort of fiery overlord, Zalrez allowed the rest of the Zerg to continue their seemingly futile speed at getting to the Marine, so he left for the Overlord waiting outside and went back to planet

The Overlord hovered over an oasis and Zalrez dropped next to it, he tasted the waters but it seemed that it didnt nourish him, he wanted blood, yet couldnt get it, he waited for a while before going back to the hive and sleep in the creep until he had confirmation where there was more prey

Survivor01
The small drop-ship tore threw the aft wall of the docking bay and started a slow push towards the Rec. Central. Slowing greatly the ship seemed to have a sudden boost of speed as it completely tore into the wall. The sargeant had been waiting as he had been ordered to. Durant quickly got on board the drop ship and they made a steep dive into the atmosphere of the plaent making their destination Mar Sara marine base.

"Xzotx, you will take the lead. Assemble the forces and give the Zerg and Terran a welcoming they late will forget" The voice spoke trough the uplink that Xzotx had with the Protoss council. The Dark Templar bowed approvingly to their command and with nothing but positive thoughts, he marsched trough the communication room and out of the Nexus.
Before leaving the room, the voice of Matriach met him.
"Xzotx..... Don't fail us" She said, with Xzotx nodding quietly. "Have I ever?"

Survivor01
As the dropship fianlly landed Spike and the remaining marines exited the craft and headed to where the leader of the base was located. all of the marines seemed to be geared up and ready to fight and the patorls seemed to have been doubled. Spike walked around checking on everything trying to figure out just what is happening. "Can anyone tell me what is happening?" A marines ran up to him after hearing his questiion. "The whole base is going into lock-down now that the space station has been destroyed." Spike looked at the ground and let out a deep sigh. "The station.. is still there."

Kira grunted as she attached piece after piece to the ship. She could not return to the protoss after her deserting actions, meaning she would have to repair it all by herself. The humans had not reached close to what the protoss had in technology, so she could not ask for help, even if she would want to. Even though she doubt anyone would ever help her out when it comes to the humans. She was not exactly the favorite subject of discussion around here. Well, maybe she was but it was not for her own benefits. It was morelike how to stab her in the back the best.
