Thanos is vastly superior to Martian Manhunter in every way, Thanos will beat his butt down with ease. Thanos has array of pisonic powers telepathy, telekinesis, can manipulate all forms of energy, project cosmic and plasma energy, class 100 strength that can be increase at will, teleporter, teach, one of the smartest beings in comics today. I hope JLA has good medical insurance because j'onn is going to need it.

Thanos has battled Galactus with his telepathy and appeared to have the upperhand for awhile. To give you some perspective, Xavier with the help of Magneto barely were able to get Galactus' attention when trying to use telepathy on him.
