Me and my friends were talking one night and came to the subject of gay thoughts. One of my female friends said that a few years ago she and an ex-bf of hers were walking somewhere and a, and I quote, "Fine ass mutha ****a!" wlaked by. She said that her at-that-time bf looked at the guy and then back at her and told her to just look at him.
This lead us to talk about how guys think about how another guy is good looking but they just don't want to say anything about it out loud. It's been proven with science that when a young boy first starts to jack off he is thinking about a guy almost half of the time. So I want to know what y'all think.

Thinking about another guy? When I first "threw rope"?
That's scary (for me anyway).
Interesting topic though nonetheless. I'm comfortable enough in my sexuality that I can talk about topics that would make others think I'm gay, or have homosexual tendencies. When in reality all I just want to accomplish is to humor myself and/or my boys. But, I don't think I would have outright commented in the situation above with a chickie by my side....unless, I was just purely trying to humor my squeeze. But, I'd have to know first if she was cool/open-minded enough to appreciate the humor, which most are not-which is another topic altogether.

No one is saying you want to ram a guy, but i've seen guys who make friends with hot guys just to hang out. There is degrees of it. There are gay guys who don't like anal sex and just like to make out. You can't take it to such an extreme.

You know, I'll be honest, this thread brings up two things I've never been able to understand. Why there is this mindset that if a guy thinks another guy is good-looking he must have homosexual tendencies, and why there are people who will freak out if someone of the same gender hits on them.
I mean seriously, for the second thing there, just accept it as the compliment it is, say you're not interested, and get on with your life. It's not the end of the world.

Well no offense but that guy was obviously troubled. And that aslo happens to allot of kids that parents send to these religous camps to be "cured".
I do believe that homosexuality is something your born with, but I also believe there are degrees of homosexuality. It can be as simple as just wanting to hang out with an attractive guy and nothing more. Or just make out, or have sex or a relationship. It's runs the gammut from one to the other and you can't label it with an extreme.

i just believe that people are born what to be. i dont see no layers on the subject. my attitude is if i get aroused around a female when she is near my wood than ok theres the answer. every straight man will admit that when a female is doing the booty shake by that area they get aroused.
SpartanII
i think that homosexuality is not necessarily something one is born with, although this may be true for some cases. It could be something which you begin to experience as you get older. I mean, there is someone i met once who was straight as a plank until they met a gay person who they fell in love with.
Can we ask any gay people on the forum for their views?
P.S. How long before the term 'gay' becomes un-PC?

people sometimes want attention, whether it is good or bad. the closest thing i can compare it to (although it is not the same) is when a child is not getting enough attention from a parent, and so miss behaves or breaks things at school or in the home. I know it is not the same thing, but it is similar.

no, not really.
Although being gay is supposed to be considered to be perfectly normal by the masses, the majority of people still reject it. Thus, some people seek it out to gain attention. Any form of attention would do them, some just choose to be gay. I know that some people genuinely are gay, and im not call them attention seekers, but there are a few (a MAJOR minority) who are.

Because the majority of people are biggots. And no, no one chooses to be hated or harassed. You don't like gay people? fine but just be honest about it.

No arguing. I was just stating something. Every opinion is a valid one and I agree with some of them. But if this is going to escalate to an argument, I get this thing shut down.
Now I can say that I think people are born gay. I think that people make choices. And of course no one is going to want to be placed in the fire of persecution. But when a chioce is made dealing with a subject that is not widely accepted by the majority of earths population, someone is going to get burned.
Luckily, I'm one of the few people who accepts everybody, no matter what life decisions they make. I realize that its their choice and they're the one who has to live with it. Why make someone's life harder when you already know that something is coming?

Wow, the ignorant fool makes another assumption. I'm not surprised. Ask me to elaborate next time instead of accusing me of bullshit. That would've been the smart move; But you didn't utilize the smart move, did you?
Today, in society, it is obvious that homosexuals are often not excepted in certain places. People often reject them and consider them a burden on society. Sometimes, people use different methods of coping with being exiled, rejected or shot down. In my theory, I think this is just a lame tool to help homosexuals cope with the fact that they are not excepted in certain scenarios, so they want everyone to share their homosexuality.
It is actually within logical reason (My theory, that is). You should know this.
Or should you?

It doesn't matter because I just wanted to know. And I'm not saying the latter because I see injustice everywhere I go nowadays. There is not that much I can do by myself but I'll be damned if I don't do anything about it, even if it doesn't involve me.
I'll have you know that in my senior year of high school, I protested for one of my male friends to be able to bring his boyfriend to the prom. I went the whole nine yards and made a petition, signs, almost spoke to the mayor, and did a little dirt digging. He was able to bring his bf. After that, I was called a crusader. I also got hot sauce back in the school, but that's another story.

Gay people are hated and prejudiced against all over, they are rediculed and mocked and treated like dirt. No one would choose to be treated like that, in fact some homosexuals actually hide who they are and pretend to be straight just to be accepted. Their have been cases in Ontario of suicides by Gay people who were scared it was going to come out. No one chooses to be gay and go through this.

That is true. I had a straight freind that i used to make out with, he swore he wasn't gay, because he would never have sex with another guy, but he liked to kiss other guys and flirt...go figure.
But there are also Gay guys who like to make out with girls, they just don't want to have sex with them. Take Davis from the Real World on MTV for example. He makes out with Brooke all the time....he isn't attracted to her though.

Indeed, I sometimes think of other men as good-looking but I know that I cannot say such things- why women can comment on other women? Unfair!

Never fall asleep around your friend.

You mean the ones where I verbally rape other "respected" members?
What I say is too demented to be gay, that's my stance, you see.
I think you're just jealous that some of my comments aren't aimed at you.
They could be...oh how they could be.

Curious friend, huh?
I don't think that it is gay unless you suck it of get done by it. It's natural for a guy to wonder about another guy's penis. It actually is called being curious. I went through it and I know a whole lot of other guys who went through it and they aren't gay.

You don't need to find a new friend. He's going to need you real soon if he is gay. And why should you care if he checks out your ass? As long as he doesn't do anything about it, you'll be ok.

I don't think it has to be about homosexuality.
People of all genders have an opinion whether they state it or not on the attractiveness of someone no matter the gender.
Males can tell when other males are attractive and Females can tell when other Females are attractive.
Thinking someone's ATTRACTIVE and being ATTRACTED to them are 2 different bowls of cereal.

Humans are curious by nature

Alpha Centauri
It doesn't count as being gay or not straight if there's no attraction, as InnerRise said.
I can tell when I think anyone is attractive, or if I can see the appeal certain guys have to females. No attraction, though.

I completely agree with the both of you. But some people are just so closed minded that even if a guy looks at another guy and smile, something is a little "sweet" about him.
Now I was raised to not look at the choices that people made but at the person themselves. No one has the right to judge anyone because their not God. So what I think is that all those people out there that criticize folks for being gay or disabled or for having children at a too young age should really look at the things they are doing because they are not perfect themselves.

What "scientific" methods were used to prove this?

When I was in the 11th grade I had a Sex Ed class and we were on the topic masturbation, we were reading out of some book called "So You Wanna Know About Sex". It said that some research lab at the University of Michigan did a survey about guys and masturbation. 64% percent were shockingly honest about fantasizing about guys.

So the other 36% were dishonest?
