Spiderman comics versus the movies.

Hi I'm doing my dissertation on Spiderman and i want to find out whether he is a comic book hero or a movie icon. I'd appreciate it greatly if I could get some helpful hints of people. Thanks!

comic hero for sure.

Defiantly a comic icon, his movie counterpart barley scratches the surface of his overall character and back story.
