This time, it is Ayane who is being hunted by a furious Wild Wolf.

The Female Tengu has tracked Kasumi to the city of Second Southtown. Hearing that her half-sister had changed her appearance somewhat, Ayane is vigilant.

One night, Ayane spies Kasumi with a blond man and strikes, catching them both off guard. The blond man is incapaticated with several broken ribs and a fractured wrist, while Kasumi is beaten within an inch of her life.

As Ayane turns the defeated kunoichi to face her so she can deliver the deathblow, she discovers that it was not Kasumi that she pummeled. It was Mai Shiranui, the blond being her (supposed?) fiance, Andy Bogard.

When word reaches Terry that the lilac-haired boxom ninja had put both his brother and Mai into the hospital after nearly killing them, Terry is pissed off, and is on the next flight to Japan.

Back at the Mugen Tenshin village, Ayane tells Hayate of her critical error and that Andy's brother is coming for her. Hayate can't use Ryu Hayabusa for assistance, since he is in South America (the Amazon Rainforest, to be precise), at the ruins of the Demon Jashin's Temple, trying to recover his father's remains.

Sure enough, Terry, along with several more fighters (Joe Higashi, Ryo Sakazaki, Robert Garcia, and Blue Mary) crash the Mugen Tenshin village. Hayate sends the Hajinmon ninja after the intruders, but one Double Cyclone from Joe sends them all flying, while the other fighters deal with the other ninjas.

In an attempt to defend his half-sister, Hayate attacks Terry, hoping to buy Ayane some time to escape. Unfortunately, his Sky Torn Blast was easily overpowered by Terry's Power Geyser and Hayate is sent flying into the same tree that Raidou had blasted him into years earlier, knocking him out.

Seeing that there is no escape, Ayane attacks Terry.

ayane is incredibly cheap, terry is not

DOA4 Ayane is nowhere near as bad Kasumi. Kasumi is so damn fast she can throw out any move she wants because her moves will almost always beat her opponent's. That girl even makes Christie look slow.

Terry has accomplished alot in his journies such as the defeat of Geese Howard and Wolfgang Krauser-- which says alot mind you, and now competes in the KOF tournaments. He's now even training Rock Howard. Aside from his two feats from the Fatal Fury saga, KOF is mostly the saga of both Kyo and Iori... but Terry still packs enough power-- his Power Geiser and Buster Wolf are incredibly powerful.

Ayane on the other hand has years of childhood resentment which is entirely aimed at Kasumi, and strived to be better than her in almost entirely everyway-- in skill, tracking-- in a sense... she is Kasumi's equal but is still striving to be better than her kinder, more gentler counter part and doesn't hold a qualm in killing her opponent. She does what needs to be done... And as soon in the DOA2 Hardcore Intro, and her DOA4 Ending, Ayane can cause destruction by using ninpo and chi abilities.

Tough call... but I'm leaning more towards Ayane since she does what needs to be done, regaurdless if she needs to kill... where as Terry doesn't really kill unless he has no other choice.

Terry would easily mop the snot out of Ayane. This shouldn't even be a remotely close matchup. Terry has conteded with literally, the strongest characters in the SNK World and has come out on top.

He is amongst the most powerful within the group in that world. He's powerful enough to even be considered almost around Ryu's lvl of abilities.

So I don't see how Ayane would even remotely stand a chance...infact, I don't see how anyone could blind side someone like Andy Bogard as well. Considering he's almost on par with his brother in abilities and durability.

Terry wins this easily in a landslide. He's way too powerful.

For starters, Ryu wouldn't beat Ayane taking into consideration what abilities they both have and the overall power output each has shown. Ayane unleashed an attack that incinerated 3 buildings from the inside within a few seconds at most, as her DOA4 ending (slow-mo part) and Bayman's ending clearly shows.

Although Terry's powerful, his abilities/feats/whatever do not make him win this. Ayane defeated an opponent who can combat SNK's strongest (besides Orochi) and win, but there's a good reason why that shouldn't be brought up...at all. It's because we don't know what happened in said battle.

If we know the details of Terry's highest level fights, we'd have something to work with.
