Uh, yeah.

Besides them transforming into those giant ape-like creatures (which gave them the upper hand over the Tuffles' superior technology), the Saiyans' ability to grow stronger after every battle (especially when experiencing a near-fatal blow, like what Vegeta got from Zarbon in the 1st battle between them) pretty much guarantees their victory, as well as their superiority as a fictional race.
