its a blend challenge site. contests for creating digital artwork like blends, or colourizing b&w images. basically I host contests.

I have always found it annoying and not a good practice using JavaScript to remove the mouseover hand for links, for one it is jumpy and it makes it harder to navigate because you are unsure what a link is and what is not. Using it sparingly like to activate JavaScript that is not a link is OK but not throughout the site, many users will not know what to click.

you know I worked a lot on that site. Every month I change layout and I update regularily. I think I would qualify for some votes. that's all I ask, just a few clicks and you're done.

I can see the work that you put into it; I was just saying something that I saw. I build and design websites for a living and thought you might like the advice but I just don't go and randomly vote for something.
