Invincible Vs Superboy

Invincible from Image comics Vs Kon El (from just before he died)

how powerful WAS kon-el? i know he went hard at sbp, but typically how powerful was he? cassie took it to him pretty hard in the titans and casie would be acceptable i believe in the tournament we're in.

i know his tk was strong, but i've never been exactly sure who he might be a good match up with in marvel. i'd have THOUGHT he wasn't THAT far above ironman, but that may be my ignorance of the character speaking. 😬

He wasn't above Ironman at all, to me.

It could be debated, but they're in the same level imo. Midtiers pinnacle.

With his TK more exploited, he'd be great.

i had toyed with the idea of drafting kon-el for the tournament but was afraid everyone would go ape-sh!t if i did . . . 🙁

his tk would have been cool!

Kon El is >> Iron Man (as is Invincible)

what feats are you using to gauge thatm scoob? this is the same character that went against spidey in the xover battles, right?

That crossover was total PIS.

Superboy has pretty high strength levels (regardless of it's TK backed or not) plus heat vision, speed and durability.

from the titans appearances i have, i really haven't seen much that would put him above IM, imo. i might give him a majority, but it's by no means cut and dried. based on what I'VE seen of him.

if someone has scans that would be cool as i'm willing to change my mind with some proof. of course, some people could post some pretty uber IM feats as well . . . 😖hifty:

Well Invincible is still relatively new to his powers and is still training himself on how best to use them, Superboy has a definite experience advantage. Plus the long range heat vision attacks.

He took a major beating from his dad one time, then another from some others of his dad's race - Viltrumites ... they're analogous to Kryptonians, except they don't have heat vision and they are all warriors who train for hundreds of years before they go off planet.

Superboy just after his first appearances takes a nuke at point blank range and is on his feet moments later:

Easily >> Iron Man

Iron Man didn't. (that I know of)

Superboy, on the other hand, has just grown stronger since those early days.

i'll concede that kon-el seems the more powerful, but i still don't think it's a romp based on what i've seen of kon-el.

again, cassie seemed pretty close to him and she would be in IM's class.

I think if IM survived a nuke it'd have to be a damn small one and it'd have to seriously f**k up his armour.

i agree. but i don't think that kind of showing is out of the question for IM.

all's i'm saying is IM is pretty damn powerful. i KNOW you know. but a lot of people seem to be trying to make IM LESS than he is.
