I love Heroes but this is gonna get closed. sad

Oh and The Authority!
Just to much raw power and experiance superiority. Plus they just play on a whole different league. Where as Heroes is more real world setting. wink

grey fox
Slyar and Hiro ftw here.

Starhawk
Syler and Peter are basically Omega's they take this on their own.

Omega mutants don't got shit on the Doctor or Jenny Quantum.

xmarksthespot
Bones to Cologne = Dead Heroes. Or Rose Tattoo just shoots them all.

Blair Wind
Heroes is a freaking awesome show.

Anyways....Peter and Hiro can stop time, sylar and peter can TK, Peter and Nathan can fly, Claire and Peter are like wolvie, Ted and Peter can go up like an A-bomb, DL and Peter can phase, and Peter can go invisible while doing it all.

Docter and Quantum probably still have the advantage

Yes they do, Phoenix could take them all on and remember Peter gains their powers so anything they can do he can do.

Draco69
Oh please. Apollo could take them all down himself.

The Doctor blinks and they're three-month old fetuses...

Burnt Pancakes
Unless... Hiro stops time before he could blink eek!

xmarksthespot
Hiro gets speedblitzed by Apollo...

Peter gains the powers of those who have the common genetic marker as him, he can't take on The Authority's powers.

PLEASE LET IT RUN FOR ABIT

DarkCrawler
Heroes get beaten like retarded blind-deaf-mute red-headed stepchilds without arms and legs who are on crack and have not seen sunlight for years. And that's if Authority are going soft on them.

Peter stops time before Apollo attacks Hiro.

Why not? it's powers.

Powers and abilities
Peter has been described as an empath by Claude, and has shown the ability to mimic other powers. According to Dr. Suresh, Peter's DNA resequences itself to mimic the abilities of those around him. He is not conscious of this process, and whenever he is near someone with an ability, he absorbs it "like a sponge." When he acquires these abilities, he does not appear to acquire any of the mental limiting factors that other characters might possess. For example, when Peter first met Isaac, Isaac needed to take heroin to induce his precognitive visions (although he was eventually able to free himself from this limitation). Peter was able to have the visions immediately without using heroin.

Originally, Peter had to be in close proximity to the person whose power he was mimicking in order to exhibit their power. During his training with Claude, as seen in the episode "Unexpected", Peter learns to access powers at will by thinking about the person from whom he absorbed it.

celestialdemon
This goes to the Authority. Both Peter and Hero need a second or 2 to stop time as evident from the show. In that time, Apollo could speedblitz them or the Doctor could render them both harmless.

Future Peter walked in to the room and stopped time instantly...so he doesn't need time to time stop it.

Who's David? confused

Haven't really seen Heroes so can't really comment but from the bio's of them I have read on the website I can't see them getting past the Authority.

Could be way off though as I've never actually sat through an episode.

No, he didn't. Watch it again. It took him a second just like it does when Hiro stops time.

During his training with Claude, as seen in the episode "Unexpected", Peter learns to access powers at will by thinking about the person from whom he absorbed it. It's the same isolated genetic marker, with varying allele forms, in all the Heroes which Peter can duplicate because he has a variable sequence at that same genetic marker. (N.B. horrible science)

He can't gain Hawksmoor's alien experiment-induced abilities, or mystical abilities of the Doctor, or the Jennys' Spirit of the Century powers, or Rose Tattoo's Spirit of Death, I'm assuming, powers and so on. He gains the abilities attributed to the shared common DNA marker. It's not "powers" he's replicating, it's genetics.

Symmetric Chaos
OK this is really just Sylar, Pete and Hiro vs TheDoctor and Jenny . . .

So far none of those Heroes have shown the needed versatility and raw power.

DarkCrawler
Sylar actually seems like relatively well-adjusted, normal person compared to some of the sociopathic mass-murderers in Authority. His murders? Authority kills more people before their morning coffee. And Jenny Quantum and Doctor are able to manipulate time and space on MUCH, MUCH higher scale then neither Peter or Hiro. Rest of Heroes? Die in brutal and bloody ways, against anybody in Authority.

The Doctor and Jenny Q can

Time travell instantaneously

in particular Doctor can send the whole team/individuals/opponents accross time with a thought

Doctor can access the "Garden" at will and IMO not even Hiro, Jenny Q Android Hourman, Rip Hunter, Kang, or Phantom Stranger could penetrate that realm without his say so.

Jenny Q in Authority Vol 2 opened up inter dimensional portals on a planetary scale she would have imploded the universe and gotten away with it too if not for

The Doctor saving the Day with a little Time Travel.

Soljer
There are at least two people on the Authority that could solo the group....erm.

Starhawk
The reason I brought Phoenix in is because they claimed no Omega could beat them.

Blair Wind
What about DL? He is essentially like Kitty Pride, what are they going to do to him?

Soljer

The Phoenix isn't an omega mutant.

Jean Grey is an omega mutant.

The Phoenix is not an omega mutant.

Glad we got that cleared up.

Turn him into marshmallows, rewrite time so he never existed, or door him into an alternate reality.

Starhawk
I'm pretty sure they are coming out with a "Heroes" comic. So this thread is legit.
