EXCL: Fueling Up for Another Massacre

It's still too early to say this is a "go" project, but Shock has learned Platinum Dunes and New Line are seriously flirting with a third Texas Chainsaw Massacre film.

Details are slim, however, we've discovered that in spite of reports last fall (during the release of Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning) that there were no plans for another chapter, the blood tides have turned in favor of a third film in the new series which kicked off to a profitable start in 2003.

After doing some digging, we've heard a few puzzle pieces need to fall into place before the film is official and story pitches can be taken. Keep your eye peeled to Shock for more and remember where you heard the news first!


THIS IS GONNA BE AWEOMSE... LOVED THE ORIGINAl.. ENJOYED THE REMAKE..LOVED THE PREQUEL... PITCH IN SOME IDEAS.. WHATS IT GONNA BE ABOUT.. i am thinking something in between 1969 and 1973 but connected to both in a weird sense of way...like the producers should go over the remake and find tinny details they can use to built on.. maybe show the little kid from the remake.. the lady fom the trailer..but at the same time keep that CHAINSAW on..i am looking forward to it.

I wish they would stop.

Oh ffs whats this...Texas Chainsaw massacre...before the beggining the pot head hippys went to the town that leather face was born in, they had some pot under a tree and left.

It is going to have to be remake of leatherface or another prequal, unless they call this next on part 5. you cant have two number 3's in a series. This whole thing sounds confusing and wasted just thinking about the continuity. **** i hope it never flies

I bet its gonna be about a group of teenagers that get lost on a roadtrip and then end up in house full of cannibals!

It's never been done before!

They do need to stop.This movie was never sequel material anyway.It should have just stayed with one movie.The original and the remake.The prequel is kind of acceptable as well.

They went everywhere with this series by now, sequels, remakes, prequels. All they got us was more gore (at times a nice addition) but mostly really uninspired reruns of known scenes or ridiculous variations on the story.
TCM has been squeezed dry.

Another TCM doesn't even make sense logically. The only reason we got a prequel instead of a sequel this time was because Leatherface cut his arm off in the remake.

They need to stop.

True true, the famous space scenario! And another thing I forgot is a crossover with leatherface in it. Hmm, guess all we need is a leatherface vs. aliens and we can bury him for good. Hell, why hasn't that movie been made by now?

The remake was decent, the prequel was a vacuous piece if sh"t, it must end.

This is getting pathetic if these ****in stupid film makers cant come up with their own stuff they shouldnt make films. ALL re-makes and sequels from a film that came out in the 70's totally suck.
