Say what you like about Alan Moore but the guy's notes were near essay length , he fleshed out the plotline , ideas, character placements. Christ the only thing he didn't add was individual dialogue and background description !

yeah, Grey Fox basically summed it up, still enjoyable though

Good read. Possibly a little overrated (I don't know if I'd go as far as some people do praising it), but definitely a solid work.

All great artists plagiarize ideas from other sources....some are just better at hiding it. I could care less if Ross stole some of Moore's inspiration. It's still a great read.

Because of KINGDOM COME, Alex Ross went from being a curious innovator, with his painted art ( seen the year before in MARVELS), to a superstar illustrator. He's still largely considered the definitive artist of the DC Universe.
