I've been curious for a while about who are the most powerful & skilled among heralds. I'll list 10 heralds, in no specific order, and you guys discuss if they are among the top 10 and in what position. You can add characters you feel make it to the top 10, but remember it's herald level characters; not bricks, skyfathers, abstracts etc.

Here's the list in no particular order:

Silver Surfer
Spawn(not ruler of hell)
Classic Thor
Gladiator
Superman
Majestic
GL Hal
GL Kyle
Martian Manhunter
Fallen One

Notable(controversial) mention: Sentry

Only Surfer and Fallen One from your list are Heralds

I didn't mean actual Galactus heralds. I meant herald lvl characters such as Superman, Thor etc.

As long as its classic thor, surfer shouldnt have a problem with taking the number one spot

Good thread. I'm interested to see the responses. ...for educational purposes (since I'm not too sure about who will all appear on this list, and who is capable of doing what)

Not so sure about a couple of guys there, but there arent many characters who compare to classic Superman and Hal.

True, but PC Supes is just...well...I don't know how to gauge his power level. One thing's for sure sneezing solar systems out of existence is too much.

Spawn in which age ?

I am not too familiar with Spawn, but any version not being ruler of hell Spawn and the like.

2nd Age Spawn is the Ruler of Hell, right? If I'm right that version is out.

Sufer sould and would come out as the winner.

Too much versality, too much power.

That's nice and sweet, but I'm just trying to find the top 10 heralds. Lots of users believe Surfer to be THE top tier herald given his feats and versatility and I somewhat agree, but I want to learn/discuss who is ranked what and why.

Hasn't Marvel always given the idea that Thor is more powerful than Surfer? At least thats what it seems to me.

Kyle, Ion or not he could still take them.
Not saying he would everytime but he could.

Thor's winning record against Surfer confirms that, but...meh.

IMO it's just Mjolnir being the perfect tool to pit against Surfer.

1. Sentry
2. Surfer/Thor (no pis - stalemate)
3. Fallen One/Gladiator (not sure)

I also saw Sentry defeat Terrax like a child,

Surfer can't defeat Terrax so effortlessly.

Sentry also stalemated for a good while Photon (Genis)

(Genis was holding back but so was Sentry)
