Also, there was a recent (but pre-IC) Supergirl arc where she tries to take the place of the Supergirl that died in the original Crisis. She ends up marrying Superman and having a baby with him before her universe is destroyed and the original Supergirl is forced to go back in her place. But she makes Spectre promise that her son/daughter (I forget which) would live. It's out in the universe somewhere just enjoying the cosmos.
