Vandal Savage vs. Crossbones

Savage's immortality is revoked for this fight.

1st round: H2H
2nd round: Sword fight
3rd round: anything goes, they're inside an armory of midevel weapons.

It would seem that Savage should be the clear winner here.

However, I've seen Crossbones hold his own against some pretty skilled fighters.

Has Savage ever stalemated the likes of Batman?

Though, for fights two and three, Savage IS the clear winner.

It's funny, I wanted to bump Savage up a tier in the MA thread. But there was a lack of feats and things. And yet, you're saying Crossbones can't take a majority, despite taking it to Cap at least 3 times in H2H? How good IS Vandal Savage? 😑

Crossbones was going to kill a guard, and forced Cap to take the bullet in order to save the guard's life. He took it in the shoulder, and would have been more than fine had he not been shot several times by Carter afterwards.

I was under the impression that Captain America saw the laser because Crossbones is a noob, he could have ran, but he didn't. He tried to stop people from getting shot, then Sharon Carter plugged him in the stomach twice.

Crossbones didn't kill shit, Sharon Carter killed him.

And Crossbones got himself owned like a crazy fool by Bucky.

In the last ark of Flash before Bart took over Savage was being a match for Wally West, and then in JSA Classidied was a match for Green Lantern [Alan]. Before the Zero Hour retcon, Savage was the one who killed all the previous Hawkman/Hawkgirl ancestors right up to the present. He's also the pirate Black Beard, Ghangis Khan and various other villians in history.

Crossbones gets killed.
