Understandable statement but wrong, Celestials take Thanos Heck a celestial takes thanos.

I know a Celestial takes Thanos I am just saying Thanos might get one or two shots in you know so Celestial actually pays attention to Thanos

You can choose:

1. That was a very low showing for Galactus

2. That was a very high showing for Thanos

Either way, it was crap writing. A Celestial won't even feel Thanos' attacks.

Galactus got up from that shot and was peeved. Thanos had to plead for his life and have Galactus hear him out, a few pages later.

Thanos didn't do it to fight Galactus but to get Galactus' attenion and I say it worked. The Shot and the effort he used to bring down Thanos' sheild weakend him. And before he blasted Galactus Galactus was well feed.

So one blast weakened Thanos and Galactus got straight back up and was very annoyed.

How does this equal Thanos standing up to a Celestial?
