After getting discharged from the armed forces, Hwoarang is back to his old tricks.

With his friends, he restarts the 'fraud team' scheme (i.e. have one team fight another team, with the star fighter making the save at the last minute).

Bad timing for Hwoarang, since Ryu, along with Ken, are visiting S. Korea.

Both fighters take into the scheme, with Ken wiping the floor with the less-skilled members. Then Hwoarang is called in a bit early, since there is too much money at stake.

'This is perfect,' the pupil of Baek Doo San thinks. 'As soon as I knock him out, then the cash will be ours.'

However, Ryu steps in, challenging Hwoarang.

"You made three mistakes, Korean" Ryu says as he tightens his belt. "First, your guys challenged us. Second, you came light. Five guys for us? Very insulting. Third mistake, is trying this stunt on someone who used to do it when they were younger."

It was true. Back in the Alpha days, Ryu and Ken did the exact same thing that Hwoarang was doing. Only theirs was more professional.

"I'll shut you up!" Hwoarang yells as he leaps in to attack.

SHOR-YU-KEN ftw.

i don't ryu'd need the shinshoryuken for this bondage porn star f@g. its impressive that Hwoarang has been able to hold against Jin. but no dice. shinkuu hadouken and Hwoarang is out.

Hwoarang tosses his Harley Davidson at Ryu's face. Ryu's head gets vaporized and he collapses as a result.

Hwoarang IS cooler than ryu but that's giving Ho-rang much...its just that Ryu is not cool from any standard.....of this solar system anyway.

Ryu still wins though.

Ryu is stronger than Hwoarang and all-around more wellrounded and experienced. Hwoarang goes down, and he goes down HARD.

'Rang is extremely cool. That "beat a whole gangs a$$ by my muthaf*ckin' self" thing" is why I always liked him. Ryu's not as cool, but he's still more interesting than some of the other heroes out there.
