Typical Tip rates:
15% tip rate. For example:
$24.00 = $3.60
Or a 20% tip rate. For example:
$24.00 = $4.80
Barker
Like $5, no matter how much the meal cost.
Mr. Bacon
10-20% depending on the service quality
BakaXero
any change under $5
DarkC
In a restaurant, like 15%.
Usually when I pay for something with debit it's a 3% tip though.
Skeets
I only tip females.$2.00 the most...31

Let's say you go to a restaurant that is serving buffalo wings as a deal and you only feel like one and they cost you 15 cents a piece. You get one and the take is like 21 cents. Do you intend on throwing down five dollars?
Impediment
I'm like Mr. Pink from Reservoir Dogs.................I don't tip.
Sorry.

I'm sure he meant a REAL meal; entree, main course, the works.
Not just a single buffalo wing.

No, because I wouldn't go to a restaurant just for one buffalo wing in the first place.

No, I do not intend on giving a $5 tip on a 21 cent meal. I just wouldn't give one.
Can I go now?

I apologize, but I truly do not wish to change the way I speak. Don't listen to David. All he wants to freaking well do is eat cheddar, anyhow! Hehehe!
Strangelove
I usually tip between 10-15%, unless the service is really good, and then I go 20%.
But now that I'm a poor college student, it's more like 8%

I don't tip 95% of the time because I'm not the one paying. But if I do I give between $3 and $5...depending on where I'm at and if the waiter isnt an as*hole.
Sparkly
Tip? No I keep my money mhm
Storm
Over here, service charge is always included and tipping is usually not expected. It is optional, and only given as a sign of appreciation.
Ceterum censeo OTF esse delendam.
Ravencrest
Same here. Tipping is not enforced but is widely human protocol.
