Typical Tip rates:

15% tip rate. For example:

$24.00 = $3.60

Or a 20% tip rate. For example:

$24.00 = $4.80

Like $5, no matter how much the meal cost.

10-20% depending on the service quality

any change under $5

In a restaurant, like 15%.

Usually when I pay for something with debit it's a 3% tip though.

I usually tip between 10-15%, unless the service is really good, and then I go 20%.

But now that I'm a poor college student, it's more like 8%

I don't tip 95% of the time because I'm not the one paying. But if I do I give between $3 and $5...depending on where I'm at and if the waiter isnt an as*hole.

Over here, service charge is always included and tipping is usually not expected. It is optional, and only given as a sign of appreciation.

Same here. Tipping is not enforced but is widely human protocol.

Money does not make the person
