He's not going to announce new movies. That's been debunked many times, and just here recently too. He'll announce the 2 TV shows everyone has known about for a couple years.

Agreed, maul should've been in between vader and 3po.

It will always be the Star Wars trilogy to me. The PT will always be the Newer Star Wars Trilogy. They are 2 separate entities to me, not a complete saga because it just doesn't mesh well enough.

Well I wouldnt say that at all. While the PT was inferior to the OT, it hardly sucked ass.

THat was pretty good actually. very unlike the movies, but pretty good stuff.

I have... it's still kinda odd.

Why is it odd?

Because it's great but it's quite unlike the movie. It's much more Flash Gordony than ANH turned out to be. It relates much more to our universe, our world in a way... "a billion years in amaking" suggests it's about the future and stuff. While in the end it's a fairy tale.
And yet, it does the trick, it sells the film. Especially knowing that the effects shots in there were the only ones finished at the time. Movie magic, that's what it is.

It selled and that was all that mattered.

Did anyone watch the show on star wars on the history channel on mo nday?It was very interesting.In honer of star wars it was on and it was about the science of star wars and the one at nine about the myths and chactors that are like the heros and the villens of the movie.

Don't you take care of your tapes? If you did, it wouldn't matter too much.

VHS resolution is a LOT worse than DVD.

I have tried comparing many times, but never noticed a huge dramatic difference, it looks better, just not "Damn is that ever amazing" type of better.

Try taping one of the Prequel's on TV and watching it back on VHS. The grain actually makes the animatics look a bit more real since the textures blend in more.

OMG... I heard about people like you. I never really believed people actually existed that can't see the difference between VHS and DVD. The difference is HUMUNGOUS.

As for PAL for instance (625 lines opposed to 550 or so with NTSC) VHS only uses something like 280 lines. DVD uses up to 420 or something. It is a LOT more crisp and clear than VHS which is fuzzy and grainy.
