Thing is, these fights have been done thousands of times. Besides, their's no other points to be proven. Let this one die.

well if this one had been done to death its before i got here. if no one really cares then it will die on its own. i dont wish for it be where it turns into another thanos vs darkseid. we did that to death in the past week. this is slightly different as they have one week and its a hero and a villain teamup. that should change things up if no one responds to this i will let it die.

that thanos is better with prep than darkseid. silversurfer has a greater powerset than superman also. power cosmic can exploit superman. its like the power cosmic was created to defeat superman.

Quan, ironically, by excluding powerups like the IG and HOTU, you basically screwed team 1 over. They have NOTHING that can stop Darkseid.

u havent realized it yet have u. is not the powerups that makes thanos truly the scary successful sonof a bit- he is. its his mind. its not mere chance he gets these powerups all the time. its his ability to get things done, no matter what it takes. he always sees something through. to take him down it takes the universe combined effort usually. this isnt a thanos vs darkseid thread anymore though. there are two other variables meaning superman and silver surfer. thanos would have the better strategy and eliminte superman off the bat with his strategy then it would be two on one. easy victory then, surfers surboard hits darkseid up his head and he gets the asskicking of his life.

he does have a great mind, but so does darkseid equally. and at the most, thanos has a very slight edge in that department.

I read comics almost every day. I own to many comics to count. As long as superman is owning darkseid on a regular basis then my answer will not change. You just cant deal with the fact that the stone guy isnt what he use to be. He is just puddy under superman shoes that gets walked on on a regular basis.

Darkseid has been brought down the same way my favorite character gladiator has been brought down to, a punching bag.

Powerwise, always saw Supes and Surfer as equals.

Thanos survived and increased his holdings all the same along with saving reality from something the supreme being needed him for. No higher praise can be sung.

Thanos had a role in Magus' defeat which was significantly bigger in the reality gem. Thanos saved the 616 reality from the cancerverse. Thanos was the supreme being of reality. If Darkseid bent all to his will why did he lose ? LOL.

Darkseid didn't belong there it wasn't due to power. Keep restating yourself till your blue in the face.

That was the Source and the Source wanted him dead in another story. In another story his life was saved against the brick known as Doomsday he previously avoided out of fear.

Thanos' feats and success makes Darkseid blush.

I think Darkseid has the upperhand on Thanos primarily because of the OE. I really don't see how Thanos (in character) would defend against that consistently. If Thanos get hit by it then it is over. While Darkseid could easily tank Thanos blasts.

Personally I think Darkseid is a lot stronger and more durable against blunt force trauma than Thanos.

But they are pretty close in formidability though.
