Introduction:
Unbeknownst to most people the Wrecking Crew are one of the toughest teams around from nearly killing Hercules, and using Thor as a punching bag. As with most villains they are used as canon fodder and lose to people by all rights they shouldn’t. Below you can see why the Wrecking Crew put fear into the eyes of Hercules.

Dr. Eliot Franklin was a brilliant physicist whose greatest claim to fame was inventing a miniature gamma-ray bomb, something that Dr. Robert Bruce Banner (better known as The Hulk) was unable to do at that time. Dr. Franklin was often called "The Black Bruce Banner" because of his genius-level intellect and his scientific knowledge in the field of gamma radiation. Franklin used his scientific genius in private employ, and built a miniaturized Gamma Bomb for Richmond Enterprises.

Here Thunderball uses this siphon to steal the Crew's powers back from Loki who stole them and teleported Wrecker out of the dimensional limbo Loki put him in. For this troubles, his cells became augmented and stronger due to the siphon.

Amped up from Thunderball's dimension siphon as prior to this apperance Loki stole their powers, and it was Thunderball who got their powers back with the siphon. Anyways the augmented Crew take on Alpha Flight and do exceptionally well, kinda dumb though that Wildheart and Nemesis get the best shots in but..there ya go.

Does anyone happen to know is Wrecker or any members of the Wrecking Crew capable of taking rifle bullets without getting injuried? Can fully empowered Wrecker do that? I know he can take pistol bullets, but how about rifle bullets .50 Cal?

Here Wrecker takes on the superhuman Ox, takes his best shots and merely smiles at him. Wrecker quickly takes him out, but Daredevil eventually arrives and knocks Wrecker's crowbar out of his hands apparently depowering him. Soon as when Wrecker gets the crowbar back he makes short work of Daredevil toppling a wall on top of him and Daredevil later even admits Wrecker is out of his league.

This is pre-Ulik upgrade where he doesn’t lose his power sharing with the Crew and got his uber powers with the crowbar. Anyways he loses in the end, but still a good showing as he was practically toying with Thing and nearly killed him. He was defeated in the end as noted by Thing for being careless and over-confident

Anyways, Spider-Man mentions Thunderball has become strong enough to fight in the Hulk's weight class, and TB is only defeated by a plot device.

I didn't see the scan where Piledriver kayos Wonderman Mungi. Unless I missed it. Wonderman was weak from some lazers blasting him but it's still impressive I think.
