Which is more powerful ?


Let's pit Wondorwoman with full access to Godwave VS Darksied with full access to ALE

couldn't darkseid just kill everybody with the ALE? or is there a limit?

THe ALE is a soul/mental thing. The Godwave is a physical/reality Thing.

True. And that ALE entity thing hasn't been retconned out either. It was like more powerful than Even Mxy yet dumb as the Absorbing man. And then Mxy even made reference that the ALE was him and Batmite in one. The ALE seems to be as powerful as the Godwave but operating on a more fine tuned level.

From what I've seen, the ALE hasn't done anything quite like that.

maybe we dont have enough info on the ALE, because DC can't decide how they actually want to define it.


Would you say the ALE is greater than the Source ? now THAT is a far push....

We should find out, it would give us atleast some substance with which to debate the ALE.

Also, it's possible Darkseid mentioned it in some Comic you haven't seen.

To this day, I get surprised with the info I find in obscure titles, or appearances that are out of the norm by characters (like perhaps a Darkseid) in a uncommon book. (somewhere you wouldn't expect)

I was flipping through Ms Marvel (the New series) all of a sudden, I bump into Carol stating that Wanda Warped "All of Reality" ...

This was Way after HOM was finished.

I already knew that ofcourse, but who would've known that piece of Info was there, it strengthens my argument when proving Wanda did in fact Warp the 616 Universe.


You might be able to find a List of appearances by Darkseid, I've found many for Marvel.




I don't know where to look for DC info.

Is there even a DC version of the Marvel Handbooks?

Is Who's Who still being published?

Not to mention that at the end of "cosmic odyssey" DS retained a small piece of pure Anti-Life:

It was probably useless in a grand scale.

The Aspects which were bigger than that piece, pure and sentient were defeated pretty easily.

Someone should make an ALE respect thread. It's probably owned more powerful people than anything else in DC.

then the ALE from (Cosmic Odyssey) is perhaps the totality or the Prime source of the Equation.

The Equation in it's non sentient form, perhaps draws on the power of the Sentient ALE.

The ALE was depicted as an uber powerhouse, we shouldn't take anything away from it, usually Nvr has made me play it down a bit, but the Entity from CO was far beyond the Cosmic Cinque of Power, and they were able to erase an entire Universe with one blast.

One that allows you to defy Entropy itself.... This would be unheard of in DC.

Actually, What is going to happen is that DS is going to have the life equation and the anti-life, thus making him the most powerful thing ever. Unheard of. Defying Entropy.

Well he's not from NG or Apok.

AFAIK the main reason that he side with NG is that they won't interfere with his work and he think DS would do so if left unchecked.
