AFAIK, the Parasite can't absorb the qualities of inanimate matter, while the Absorbing Man can. If so, Creel takes this by virtue of having far more versatility.

Luke Cage beat the crap out of him because he absorbed tin or something. People mark his absorption of a cosmic cube as a high point, but what did he do with it?

Part od Parasites powernis absorhing life force and because of this he absorbed the life force and with it intellect of a scientist. So not sure how you get the idea he isn't "sharp"

Creel would be too weak to do anything, if Parasite becomes him. Parasite prefers powerful characters, of course, but he's also able to drain normal humans of their life force.

Parasite can drain pretty much anything. And he doesn't even need to touch you to win, as beatboks pointed out. When he drains you, he actually becomes you, right down to your DNA.

We using DCnU Parasite or pre?
