Let's say you can go back in time to around the middle ages, or perhaps the Dark Ages or whatever and you bring with you, in a bag, a revolver with infinite rounds, an iPod, your cell phone, an 8.1 megapixel digital camera, mace, and a family sized pack of Twinkies. Could you take over this archaic era using the tools given to you and your God-given, ingenuity?

Why would you bring friggin' a cell phone, digital camera, or an ipod. You need electricity for them to keep running, and what are you gonna do with a cell phone? But yeah, you couldn't take over a kingdom with that, you'd get f'd in the a by arrows and shit. And half the people on kmc don't have the sense to conquer a kingdom.

...you can't kill an army with a revolver, they have armor on and that can protect against a bunch of shots (Seen a fistful of dollars?) and not to mention you'd be shot down by arrows before you even got into a castle, so unless you built an army of peasants, and pulled a robin hood, or a dragon heart then you'd most definitely not make it.
