Bought a Car Today

So, today I just bought my first car. It's a 1980 Trans Am Firebird and it runs excellently. The only problem is that as you can see from the pictures it needs a lot of body work. It needs a paintjob, because the salty Daly City air rusted the car, and the the handles on both doors are broken (I can still get out, but the little handle that you use to close the door once yoru inside is broken off.) the suspension is weak, a bit of the electrical systems need to be fixed, and the altimeter is messed up. Also the power steering and altinator belts need to be changed.

I bought the entire car and got an extra pair of brand new rims for 1200 dollars.

Some of my freinds say I got lucky with this buy, one of them who is a mechanic says that I should have gotten it for cheaper due to it's problems. What do you guys think? Did I get lucky, or did I get screwed?

It looks like it'd be a really nice car after some fixing up.

How many miles has it done?

Screw red, re-paint it white. You don't want to be flashing red everywhere.

Yeah, I know of both. The only thing is, limewire is depleted of some fat jon. I haven't searched up 5D. I'll do that.

Good to see someone else can appreciate good music that isn't mainstream.
