It took a guy with 'the Strength of a Hundred men' to even dent a leg. They may look weak but their metals are surprisingly strong.

Cap can generate a lot of force when he throws the shield. He has thrown it so hard that it cought up to rocket that a good head start on it and destroyed it.

Are these the tripods from War of the Worlds? If so...Martians win....Cap's shield couldn't penetrate their protective shields.

Yup, but they have no Shields

yeah they do....in the movie...even the military's best weapons couldn't get through their force fields.
