why doesnt anyone like tombstone anyway?

I gotta say that I'd really love to see Wildcat win this fight. I only recently first saw him in a JSA compilation comic, and loved him from the start. Don't know enough about tombstone to really judge how the fight would go, but ol' Ted has a good thirty years of fighting experience over Tombstone.

Tombstone was able to defeat Darkhawk.

I see Wildcat as more of a brawler/grapler type. I think that plays right up Tombstones alley. I say Wildcat for a very slight majority 5.5/10. Thats only due to being a smarter fighter.

Wildcat's skills are useless here, Tombstone is superhumanly fast and durable enough to survive 4 anti-tank rockets. TS is also easily strong enough to take a human head off with a single punch.
