Great spite. Unless Robin, whichever is involved here is actually older than Bruce Wayne and thus was thought up first, Batman will not lose to one of his pupils.

the only thing Robin has over Bats is his speed other than that he gets stomped. heck he gets stomped anyways.

Robin is not MUCh faster than Batman.
It makes MINIMAL difference.
