Many Spider-man haters love to say how Spider-man is all about powers and he's nothing without them. What they do not realise is after years of being Spider-man Peter Parker has gained a lot of experience and is a great fighter even if he loses his powers he still is a peak human.

Spider-man lost his powers in the middle of the fight against 4 supervillains. Well, they're not really Electro, Sandman, Vulture and Scorpion, but they are perfect immitations of them.

But no, Pete's not a mutant. Links aren't necessary. It's common knowledge. He was genetically altered by a radioactive spider bite. He doesn't have a mutant gene that was activated.

He did barely survive that fight. He died later, when he went "Spider-mode" in order to save MJ.

I'm gonna start buying this again. i just didn't like how small he looked and the whole getting rid of MJ but i'm used to it now

But exactly what has been altered has not been explained.

He still had his fight with Morlun, he still with on adventures with F4, and when he unmasked they remembered everything they had forgotten about him.

can you see how many trained sheild operatives shooting he has dodged within that fractional time,that is superspeed, he was all over the place not being there long enough t oget shot while carrying someone in his hands

secondly , its not a dead weight he is carrying , he's carrying his wife ,a human being , easily able to squirm around and get herself shot

SM is genuinely faster than other streetlevelers , he does have any MA gimmicks to make him appear fast just true speed

yes super strength is present there , but give other street a dog/cat and is there any replica's of the SM feat ,my point was also that he was dodging while carrying a human sized person (she could of easily got should but he was navigating her out of danger swell), the amount o f speed needed to do that would trump amount needed to protect an inanimate object , even without MJ the feat is wicked fast , those guys are trained gunmen firing bullets to kill , SM is in point blank range but successfully dodges

yes while holding to people who are quite a bit heavier then MJ and against individuals much better then some highly trained operatives. They were a team of shield trained assassin trained to kill super humans, wolverine being one of the people they were trained to kill.

Spiderman dodging gunfire with mary jane shouldnt be impressive at all, in fact it should be pretty standard stuff for him. Givin his spider-sense and reflexes, along with his strength making MJ light as a feather.
