All of this talk about who will be cast as the next Superman makes me sick. I don't really care who it is.

But I thought about something today while picking parts at my damn box factory job: Do you guys and gals think that they will use John Williams original score?

I don't think I'd go see it if they jazz it up with hard rock comercial music. It's John Williams or bust, as far as I'm concerned.

Any thoughts?

i think its gonna be cool..they just have to choose the BEST Superman..i've heard that they've been choosing between Tom Welling, Ashton Kutcher and Josh Hartnett.!

Bruce Campbell is the only person i think fit enough to play the man of steel!! i cant see anyone else taking the role as much as Bruce.

They should NOT make a superman movie. People will watch it, and it will suck. What are they thinking of making superman...studios should start thinking for themselves. Tired of Remakes, Sequels, and Comic movies.

you know they been trying to make this movie for the last five years, even x-men got around to being made after the 4th year, but theyve gone through 6 directors and even more script changes, 2 years ago it was going to based on the death and return of superman with Nicholos cage playing superman but after going through so many rewrites and director changes he said he wasnt intrested anymore, which he prolly could have pulled it off, you know even the great kevin smith was going to direct superman at one time but when he demanded script rights they turned him down and and pulled him out he would have done a good job being a big fan of comics, but then darren aronofsy the director of requiem for a dream and american beauty was going to do it but he got pulled and now they want the guy who did charlies angels full throttle if thats gonna be the drector my hopes for this movie will be shattered before they start, having the charlies angels director direct this would be worse than not having the williams score, but eigther way they should use bruce campbell as superman just so he can say "Hail to the kryptonian king baby" LOL yeah that would rock

comic movies are great after years of not having technology to pull them off its about time they indulge in them, im waiting for ghost rider, one movie they should deffiantly leave alone is the fantasic four, but comic movies would be better if they actually had good writers on them rather than 90% of the movies team working on the special effects, back in the day it was everyone working on the story to make up for the technology and now its the other wya around

Plus, Superman should be left alone. Unless they want to make a really dark film. And again, if John Williams doesn't score the film, I will not see it.

how can orlando bloom be superman? he looks like a damn boy and is by most standards it takes a MAN to fill superman shoes superman is the embodiment of al superheros so if they do DO this movie they should ask them selves every other minute "should we make this movie?" if you cant get aronofsky or spielberg to direct it it should be left alone because without SUPERMAN (REEVES) itll take eigther an unconventional director to bring somthing to the table or a master film maker

They shouldn't make another Superman movie. They should have stopped after II. Better yet, after the first one.

If they have to make it, they should cast a complete unknown. Or maybe the guy who played the teenage superman in the first movie. Did he do anything after that ?

they should just let reeves be superman, tie a little cap on the back of his wheel chair and have micheal j fox wheel him around as he shakes uncontrollably, call it superman flies again and at the end of the movie throw reeves off of a building signifying the flies again part, it would be beautifull yet tragic as he slams into the ground, man that movie would make millions and do a fade out with micheal j fox having a seizure on the ground you could even throw in a to be continued on that son of a bit*h PERFECT

I think the actor playing superman on smallville would be the best for the new movie

There is one person that looks just like Superman and that is the ex wrestler Scott Hall (Razor Ramon) especially in his death and ressurection. He has the dark waivey hair with the curly lock in front, the exact facial features and the build. He would be perfect for the role.

As cute as he is Brenden Frasier isn't Superman. The need to get a deal going with Dean Cain. He has already played Superman before. He is georgeous and has the perfect brown hair, blue eyes and a killer body! Granted Lois and Clark was written very cheesy, but that isn't his fault!

rumor says that they might pull out brandon routhe as Super man and use Tom Welling (which would be my personal choice and the logical one but..)because of the people complaining and being disapointed at their new pick. its true everyone wants to see welling continue the legacy but...
they say its 99 percent faulse because they start filming Superman Returns in like two weeks and wellng is still filming the end of Smallvilles fourth season so kinda impossible that he'll be ready in that time.plus smallville is filmed in Canada and S-Man Returns if being filmed in Australlia. but man i sure hope they find a way for Welling to play the part.

ok first of all... tomacco i think the old theme from superman should be in this and every other movie about superman, cuz everyone must remember the chills when you were watching chris reeves flying while the music was on....uff!!! and it won't be cool if they don't use it, however i don't think they can make a cool movie with the stupid director they picked, the terible cast, which btw is discussed in another thread for all those who asked about the actor playing superman/clark, all i can expect is for a miracle to happen... but it won't, so with or without william's theme i don't think i am watching this movie

It has been confirmed that a new comer named Brandon Routh is playing Superman, and It has also been confirmed that Kevin Spacy is plaing Lex Luthur, and Kate Bosworth is playing Lois Lane.
