Well, I have a terrible fear of the paranormal and such, so being the idiot that I am I started watch Travel Channel's Most Haunted. So now I have to wile away the hours until I feel comfortable in knowing that if I go lay down, I won't start thinking about ghosts and bad stuffs because I'll only scare myself and I'll never be able to get to sleep and I have to go to work tomorrow.

So, now I'm just gonna hang out on KMC for a while, with all the lights on, and hopefully more people will log on and talk to me, because sitting here by myself will only give me spare brain time to scare myself with memories of History Channel's Halloween special about possessions and exorcisms, and the two months of nightmares that ensued.

Hehe, the paranormal is real. I've had a couple encounters myself. Two of them were in the same house on different days, and we only lived in the house for 3 months...so I'm sure if we stayed it would have been even more.

1. The first night in the new house, I was trying to fall asleep on the floor in the living room because my room wasn't ready. The ceiling fan didn't work, yet I was looking up and suddenly the fan started moving, slowly at first, then it sped up. All the windows were closed, so it wasn't wind. Scared me shitless.

2. I was laying on my bed and suddenly I felt something hit me, and there laying on my legs was a pillow that moments earlier was on the other side of the room...

On more than one occasion I have been on the computer in a different room, no music or a TV playing, my parents are asleep and I'm the only one up. I've heard muffled conversations going on in my living room. The instant I walk out there, it stops, then when I return to the computer room a few minutes later it starts up again.

Also a couple times before I go to bed I've placed books on my bookcase and when I wake up they are on my dresser across the room.

KMC Is not the place to go when you can't sleep. ermhappy

I only watch Ghost Hunters because it's entertaining. The only episode that I have really felt was not fake/edited in any way was the Lighthouse Episode in Ft. Lauderdale. That was some freaky shit.

Most of it on Ghost Hunters you can tell is faked, for a reason. A lot of times, if they don't find anything, they'll say they didn't find anything. That happens more times than not, due to the random homes the investigate. Than the "Debunk" the claims people have.

Where-as Most Haunted is going there to find ghosts, so they will basically freak themselves out enough to make random claims of being touched or seeing things. When Ghost Hunters go in professionally and takes the professional look at the investigations.

Although, I'm sure Sci-Fi and the Producers edit the show to make it scarier and stuff like that.

That's the reason I like them more, they may fake stuff but if they catch something that I feel is real they do try to debunk it.

Most Haunted is ridiculously funny though.

I'm not too sure about that, but they did have a live show at a penitentiary over here in the states. Later towards the end, about 2 am my time, they claimed one of the members "threw" another member over a railing because he was "possessed". They showed the video and it was painfully obvious it was staged.

That's great.

The show I was talking about was some special about a movie called "Death Tunnel" that was set on the actual Waverly Hills sanitarium and it had interviews with former workers and patients. They had ghost hunters come in to go through the place before they shot the movie. Half the time it was so dark you couldn't even see anything that they claimed happened.
