Who wins? This is Onslaught with the Charles,Magneto,X-Man & Franklin Richards. He has the Cyttorak gem too.No prep. This is a 80s line up

Agreed. They way they beat him in the comics in the first place seems very unfeasible to me.

How is it that someone with insane telepathy and reality warping abilities are incapable of killing off a the x-men?

Frankly, you could have half or a quarter of the people there and the defenders would still win. Everyone there is basically canon fodder to protect the magicians. Primarily Dr. Strange. He alone, could take Onslaught. Just give him even 30 seconds of cover and it's game over.

Defenders should win, but I totally agree that the bad writing of the Onslaught saga could allow Onslaught a win.

Most of these guys don't really count for much, even with all the class 100s on the team, but they would provide a distraction for Silver Surfer, Strange, Clea, Overmind, maybe even Hellstorm, GRider & Havoc to hit him with various magics, cosmic power, & telepathy.

Overmind is an interesting one. At full power he was able to pummel the Stranger, and even claimed he was capable of overpowering up to 3 Watchers at once.

Oh lordy. The only chance The Defenders have is Dr. Strange with most of the Defenders around Stephen as a temporary side distraction for Onslaught.

Save for Silver Surfer and Dr. Strange, Onslaught does the polka dance through the rest of the Defenders without using Franklin's reality warping powers....

He also threw in the Cyttorak gem. Thats gonna make invulnerable to physical attacks. So all those bricks can be disregarded.

The only people i see doing anything here are Dr. Strange, Surfer, Dr. Druid, Clea, Ghost Rider, Overmind, Jack of Hearts (maybe), Iceman (maybe), and possibly Thunderstrike.

Classic Dr strange would beat onslaught imo, surfer would also give him a hard time as well.

totally wrong. The thing that breaks this is that Franklin Richards was walking around with near celestial level reality warping abilities. Onslaught has those. Sufficient enough to make exact clones of heroes to fight for him, will entire suns into being, or create dimensions at a whim. Strange has blown up planets and stopped time, but nothing on this level.

Remember that celestials were such a threat that Odin + in asgard combined (minus thor) couldn't defeat one. How does strange's magic fare vs. the gods of asgard? Not well at all. Even classic strange runs from his life from Loki alone.

Magic, even strange's magic..isn't going to get it done here.

Onslaught is also totally immune to physical damage (having no body). it took Thor + Mjolnir (and don't kid yourself, Thunderstrike is nowhere in the same league) PLUS a fully unleashed hulk to break his armor, which only made him more powerful.

NO ONE on this list has psi abilities sufficient enough to take out a combination of Professor X + Xman. period. this entire list minus surfer and moondragon should be mindwiped from the get-go.

full potential onslaught wins this easily, imho.

I wished he would've reached his potential

Onslaught did nothing that puts him at a lvl of a celestial, despite franklins power
Strange has done more than just stop time, he's reversed time,absorbed entire dimensions of demons power as well as elder gods and skyfathers power's.

Loki could only stalemate dr strange and loki had prep and all of stranges trinkets.



stange took hits from galactus,death,inbetweener and had no great damage to but name a few.

strange bested moondragon w/mind gem and he beat umar, dormammu's more powerful telepatic sister

Stange has beaten inbetweener,shuma gorath,stalemated mephisto and satannish in their own dimension.so onlsaught winning easily i highly doubt

Classic Dr. Strange CAN beat Onslaught.
