2 ways carnage can be introduced

Kassady, takes students at Peters College hostage, in Doctor Connors lab, Spidey comes along and:

a) Beats Kassady, Kassady is taken by the police, the Symbiote that was in the jar hides on a police man and joins with Kassady while Kassady is in prison
b) Knocks kassady next to the jar that had the symbiote in it, the symbiote joins with Kassady

(I make to many carnage threads I know, but I keep getting crazy idea's and just have to share them)

Dazzler619
I can't picture kassidy taking a bunch of kids hostages.Sorry

However, how about he escapes from a mental institution truck (when it stops in traffic or something) and hides out in Connors lab where he discovers the symbiote?

Steve, these ideas are great! You should make a second thread based on this almost exact same topic. durup

Toku King
Ugh, no Carnage please. He's bad enough as it is in the comics.

Neo Darkhalen
I can't imagine him in a Spider-Man film, Lizard could knock the vile over at it find Kassidy, or Kassidy could hide in the lab, I see the same as the TAS happening in that the piece disappears and is never seen in any movie again.

Still I hope he never makes it into a film, and I guess if he was included it would depend on the other villain of the film as well.

Toku King
I say go with the more universally loved villains, such as Lizard, Hobgoblin, Electro, Scorpion, and so on.
Carnage just doesn't fit.

BruceSkywalker
I would not mind seeing Carnage, but he will not be the same as he is the comics.

Carnage just doesn't fit. Meh. Scorpion and electro are too low level, and hobgoblins history is too convoluted.

Neo Darkhalen
Mysterio and Lizard would make good villains.

I can see the character of Kassidy getting himself in a situation to where taking college students hostage makes sense.

Something this violent would never happen in a Spiderman movie, especially with all of the recent school shootings. The Spiderman movies dont take risks, they are generally child friendly fluff. The biggest risk ive seen in the spiderman movies which im still surprised made it through was when Doc Ock Slaughtered the Dr's. That scene alone was darker than the whole "darker toned" spiderman 3

How about Carnage never appears in a spider-man film and instead appears in an R-Rated Venom film, where instead of taking hostages he rips out their throats and drinks their blood. YAY!!!!

Low level? They're just as big of issues as Lizard and Carnage when done right.
Electro took over New freakin' York, and Scorpion was made to beat Spider-Man.
And Hobgoblin's story could go fine in a movie, if done right.

Toku King

Hobgoblin shouldn't appear for at least 2 more movies, simply for the fact that there are too many Goblins. Let Norman and Harry have their moment before throwing another Goblin into the mix. The same goes for Carnage. Carnage could work in a Venom spin-off but spider-man needs something new!

Very true goblins are getting old now, Lizard and Mysterio together would be a great idea...i hope they make it into 4.

I'd love that but God knows it won't happen. An R-Rated spider-man film would satisfy to many fans. And besides a chunk of their money comes from families.

God no. No R rated Spider-Man movies, thank you.

I, for one, hope that Hobgoblin is not in a Spidey movie.

Arachnid1
I think any villain would do great in a movie, and every villain has potentially high threat levels if used right.

Hobgoblin would do fine in a movie. I hope he's in a sinister 6 movie if that ever makes it to theaters.

With how bad Harry came off as the Green Goblin, I don't want them to keep making shitty copies.

Otherwise they should just have a movie with Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Demogoblin, Jack O' Lantern, and all the other varieties of the same character. erm

Arachnid1
"With how bad harry came off..."

Harry was one of the best people in that entire movie, acting and character wise. He was jsut so likeable. Hes like the MR in smallville. Not the main guy, but one of the most lovable and memorable characters. He, and Church were the only amazing people in that entire movie (Grace did good, but not good enough).

But still, having all the copies running around would be bad. Even then though, you know theres going to be at least one goblin. They'll probably end the franchise with a boom, so they'll either bring back Norman like in comics, or bring in Hobgoblin completey revamped and better than ever. We don't need all the copies, but at least one more goblin.

You enjoyed the forced wise cracks going between Peter and Harry when they were battling Sandman and Venom? Let alone how many times the "Turn from the dark side and help me" has been done anyways.

If there are to be any more goblins, let it be the original.

Neo Darkhalen
let no more goblins enter the spider-man films.

steverules
I doubt there will be any left

Neo Darkhalen
Demogoblin
Hobgoblin
Grey goblin
Fake goblin
Jack O' lantern
Green goblin 3 and 4

steverules
I meant any good goblins that are worth putting in the movies

Neo Darkhalen
Hobgoblin is the only other good goblin, still really they need to leave goblins alone.

steverules
There's already been 2

Neo Darkhalen
and they should leave it at that....your not making much sense today steve, no offense.

steverules
sly dunno how I'm not making much sense. No offence taken.

Neo Darkhalen
Glad you don't, i really wasn't trying to be confrontational.

steverules
Ok

Neo Darkhalen
k. stick out tongue

Magic_attack
Alright, lets bring this discussion back to Carnage. smile

If there are to be any more goblins, let it be the original. Ok. I'll give you the final battle part (besides the "Up top" line. That wasn't forced at all. That was awesome), but the dialogue for him during his fights with spidey that they exchanged were awesome. Same with all the scenes with him and peter when he lost his memory. The dude did amazing in the movie, and in the past two movies. And the Dark side part was inevitable so you cant use that. Especially since it was taken straight out of the comics.

Though, I agree with the "original goblin" part. I want Norman back.

I must have missed those good parts when I was cringing from the song and dance routines. sad

I am only referring to the scenes where Harry was GG.

I am not denying that he did play a good part. And truth be told the bits that are lousy, the blame would be geared towards the director and the writer and not James Franco.

I am saying that it didn't have to be done that way. There are numerous ways for the two of them to have a team-up. To have Peter come there and beg Harry, and have Harry turn him down is fine. That part could have been better, but it is what it is. But what the hell has Bernard been doing for the past 2 movies? Does anyone think that poor ol' Bernard could have said something a little sooner? He seemed to have a lot of knowledge bottled up in his head. lol

Agreed. I had trouble keeping my eyes on the screen durring the dancing parts. I wasn't even in the movie, and I was embarrased. I just wish Harry found a different way of finding out about peters inocense. The butler? Really? Why the hell didn't he tell harry before harry ruined his life and had half his face burned off?

I think I agree with you completely.

Neo Darkhalen
I want to know how the Butler knew all of this just from a stab wound.

It's like 'Hey sir, I know you just tried to kill your friend and then you got your face burnt....just wanted to let you know, your dad was an evil super villain and your friend spider-man a.k.a. Peter Parker didn't kill him but instead your dad was impaled on his own glider...just wanted to let you know before it was too late and before you could gte hurt. Goodnight sir.'

Neo Darkhalen
yeah i found that really weird, you know that he would tell him that only after being beaten around by peter...evil Butler.

steverules
Guess he didn't like Harry too much

That's exactly what i've been thinking. The lizard, out of control, will tear up the lab and somehow the symbiote will change colors, gain abilities, and find cletus. big grin

Though I hope they do it right and use venom.

doctorstrongbad
The lizard could pwn by himself.
