After vacationing in Hawaii (even the most disciplined needs a break once in a while), Ryu (post-Oro) returns to Japan.

Upon arriving at the airport, someone is waiting for him. It is a company representative from the Mishima Zaibatsu, Heihachi Mishima. Puzzled as to why Old Man Mishima wishes to have a word with him, Ryu accepts.

Upon arriving at Honmaru, Ryu is escorted to the training grounds, where the gi-clad Heihachi Mishima, along with his pet bear Kuma Jr., awaits.

Heihachi maybe a power-hungry megalomaniac, but even he sees honor in challenging a fighter like Ryu.

Heihachi: My house is honored, warrior. (beckons to the training platform) Please.

Ryu steps into the ring.

Ryu: To what I owe the honor of standing before the King of Iron Fist?

Heihachi: (with surprising sincerity) I...knew Gouken. He was a good man, good fighter. He owed me a rematch, but...Akuma got to him before I could.

Ryu: If you want to fight me, all you had to do was ask.

Heihachi laughs.

Heihachi: Straight to the point. I like that in you. Very well.

Ryu bows, while Heihachi stretches his arms, heaves out his chest and causes lighting to dance around him.

They both go into their stances. This is what Ryu lives for: fighting strong opponents.

Post Oro Ryu?

I Dunno what Ryu will be like after training under the hermit... but ryu's gonna be a hell of a lot stronger and more skilled than he was in SF3...

Heihachi on the other hand is exeptionally durable, even for a Mishima, this is compounded by the fact that Hachi doesn't havethe Devil Gene, making said durability even more pronounced... And Hachi is no fool at fighting either, capable of defeating Devil kazuya when he was younger.

I am going to say Ryu wins this slightly, but not by very frigging much based on his current set of feats and the fact that I don't know how his training with Oro will affect him.

This would be a close fight, but Hachi takes this.

i think Ryu after the training of Oro is much more powerfull then he was in 3s

even now i don't know what his lvl really his, i think he will be in the godtier league after the training

We'll have to wait until we find out what Ryu's Training with Oro does to him...

The only reason I say he wins now is due to Ryu's assault capabilities, his destructive feats, and his level of power being compared to Akuma's alpha version, which by every account is more than enough to overcome Hachi's durability.

However... thats not to take anything away from the Grumpy Old Mishima. Hachi is definintely one of the best all human fighters of Tekken, if not THE best all human from Tekken.

Hachi is the best full human, only a foolish mortal would disagree with that statement.
