The New York Times bought a copy of the book early, and wrote a "review" were they apparently give away the entire plot. ( I personally havn't read it). I can't belive the New York Times would do that. They seem like they would be above this...

The Phantom
Hehehe. Well, it will be bad for them in the end.

pinkfloydkor
it didnt give away huge plots or anything

i had my dad (non-potter fan) read it first to make sure

its not much

it doesnt spoil anything too major, but i will go ahead and do this anyway for the people out there who dont want to know anything

*****SPOILERS!!!!!*********

*****SPOILERS ARE ABOUT TO COME!!!*****

it says that he goes to godrics hollow and that sirius's bike comes back as well as the polyjuice potion, dumbledores pensieve, dobby, and mr. ollivander

Either way, I think that it was poor taste reviewing a book that they got from a bookstore that wasn't suppposed to be selling it.

pinkfloydkor
for sure

and then there is an article in the NYT about how a bookstore shipped a bunch of copies to people a week early and now there is a lawsuit

yet there is a review of the very same book on the previous page

NYT review

Illinois lawsuit
