After The Courier-Mail ran this item, MTV checked in with the representatives for Naomi Watts, Joseph Fiennes and Stuart Townsend who said the rumors are not true. According to the reps, Watts has not been cast as Narcissa Malfoy, and Fiennes and Townsend are not on board either.

The sixth film, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, is scheduled to hit theaters on November 21, 2008.

I really can't see Naomi Watts playing Narcissa.

I think Cate Blanchett would be perfect for Cissy, myself...

the hollywood choice is honest to god cate blanchett.


Rebecca Hall would be good for narcissa blond hair and i think she will be good

I really don't think either of them look the part. Narcissa's supposed to be very beautiful, but also very arrogant, haughty, and aristocratic.

Tilda Swinton would be perfect. I can definitely see her standing next to Jason Isaacs.
