I think we all need to respect The Phantom.He has been around for 400 years even before they started printing him 6 decades ago.He is "The ghost who walks,the man who cannot die,the guardian of the eastern dark."He was the first hero to wear a skin-tight outfit,and the first to wear a mask with no visible pupils.He is a trend setter and a crime fighter.Given that there has been a successive line of 21 Phantoms,he is still one of the most widely famous heroes in all the world.In the history of The Phantom,the 5th fought against Blackbeard,the 13th fought with Jean Lefitte in America in the War of 1812,and the 16th was a cowboy in the Wild West.He is a true hero of heros that is not that known in today's culture.
