Which was the reason why Fei Long asked him to choreograph several fight scenes for his latest movie using Escrima-based moves. Ryu is happy to help out a friend, as he puts both Fei and his co-star Pai Chan through Escrima training, using kali sticks, rattan sticks and knives, as well as hand-to-hand combat.
That and Ryu works cheap, which helps Fei out a great deal.
Ryu watches as Fei and Pai fight inside a Macau casino; Fei with two police batons and Pai with dual machetes. The scene is intense as they duke it out.
As the scene plays itself out, a REAL fight breaks out outside near the casino.
Akira Yuki is in Macau on vacation. Instead, he nearly gets robbed. So he kicks his would-be robbers' asses to the moon. The last one he kicks through the casino's doors as Pai and Fei finishes shooting. He looks around and sheepishly apologises to Pai for invading the movie shoot.
When he notices Ryu nearby, he moves to challenge him, but after what Fei saw Akira do, he challenges Akira instead in a Chinese martial arts battle (i.e., in case you don't know, Akira uses the Bajiquan style, the same style which Kokoro uses in DOA4).
With the cameras rolling, Fei Long and Akira Yuki face off. Better hope that the casino owner is insured for impromptu matchups.
