Flying Speed/Wind-Speed feat

Storm creates her very own high-altitude jet stream which takes her from central Australia to Tasmania in what seems to be no more than a minute or 2. The distance and the point of reference I am using is the pink holographic projection globe of where her position is once they finally plot it, which seemingly took a minute as well. She was already almost 1200 miles away on her way to Antarctica.

Madelyne Pryor notes that she did not know such speed was even possible

Here Storm diverts a portion of the continental jet-stream and goes at speeds only "jets" can match.

The average commercial jet goes from 500-600 mph.

That's the average, they can go much higher.

Oh yeah. There was an X-Men/Spiderman crossover where the characters battled some humans turned gods. Storm was enshrouded in darkness which kicked in her claustrophibia. While she was in this, she was incapasitated by her fear (unlike with Doom) and the X-Men and Spiderman were getting creamed by the "gods." Wolverine, or somebody managed to take out the guy responsible for enshrouding her in that darkforceish-type darkness. She then says, "I am can now breathe! Now, let lightning dispell the darkness. Let the power of the storm now reign supreme!" The storm is so great that it overwhelms all of the gods and goddesses present. I'll try and remember the issue tonight.

The text doesn't really indicate, but they were not very close to each other.

Xavier was in New York looking for Magneto, and she was deep in the Morlock Tunnels.

Perhaps they were in two different parts of New York.

He was in psychic contact with her all night and I guess by their minds being focused on each other the weather around the professor manifested itself to represent the anxiety which Storm was suffering.

In X-Men: Black Sun issue 1, a demon had captured Kitty Pryde. Storm zapped and incinerated the demon with a lightning bolt while it was holding Kitty. Kitty did not even feel a static tickle owing to Ororo's profound control.

Storm vs acid rains of another world

Storm gets sucked into interdimensional portal and ends up in another world. She tries to control local weather and accidently summons acid rain, so she has to create "windshiled" to protect her from that.

Saving herself from a bomb explosion

Storm and Cable (the version which was weakened by virus) confront Gene Nation members. They going to blow up a bomb (powerful enough that Cable doubts he can contain an explosion with his TK, so that's most probably not a grenade). Storm's hurricane winds take care of the damn thing, causing an entertaining firework.
