Actually it just raised him to a level of power where he could compete with the archangels, when he merged with the Dragon Knight he became even more powerful.

Good to know...I've just seen the anime, so that's the version I'm familiar with...the manga is extremely hard to find in english. Here'a a scan..whatever he's doing is badass.

Depends one who's writing. Circe effectively Depowered Diana becuz the Gods had abondoned Diana. Then when the Gods start helping Diana again, Diana blocks every magical bolt circe throws.

Circe is skylevel as well. And she has admitted over and over that she cannot defeat Diana no matter how she tries. magic isn't all that potent on Diana as long as she has the favor of the Gods.
