He can manipulate Fire probably better than anyone. So he might use Firelord's ower powers against him. And he is completely immune to fire. So it might take firelord a loss or two to realize this and use some of this other powers.

Firelord is not a being of "normal fire", like Human Torch: He's a herald of Galactus, with Power Cosmic at his command.

What's make you think that Rayner could beat FL?

Rayner is ****in' versatil, but so does Firelord, with great matter manipulation. A pyromancian is an ant for a being like him.
