Is anyone else reading it?

The Thor, Human torch and Sue taking on Hyperion fight was cool.

I think it's not bad but there is too many people in it or they should have take some out because they are useless in the plot. I see hints of Ultimate X-men in there but what do they do? or they just faded out of the plot.

Didn't know about it, Ill check it out...

I was reading it till my comic site got shut down!

It was good imo.

I am enjoying this one.

Hyperion seems to be REALLY powerful, taking Johnny's nova and stopping Thor's hammer.

Yeah, he is. When he was in the Ultimate universe, though, he was a bit easier to take on.

So it appears that Hyperion is quite a bit faster than Thor? since he grabbed his hand and take away his hammer all in once swinging motion by Thor.....Then knocked him out.

Ultimate Thor kicked some ass in issue 7. Just bought that today.

man, I really want Squadron Supreme to start again. it was getting to be really good.

Same with newUniversal.

I'm glad Thor redeemed himself and stopped holding back.

The latest issue was a jumbled piece of mess thanks to Loeb.

At the end of #6 Doom appears, yet we only see him for the first couple of pages in this issue because Loeb can't decide who he wants to make the villain here.

At first we think it's Doom, but then it turns out to be the Squadron's smart guy (forgot him name) and then we're given the most random ending of all time.

WTF happened to this series?!?

And for that matter how the hell did Doom escape the zombie verse? (which everybody knows he could have easily, but still)

i wanna know where they are going with this?

what will ult hulk do? he has been seriously downlplayed recently, with new chrecters being introduced destroying stuff to contain teh hulk and etc........mayb he will get his ass whooped

Roflmao.

Ultimate Hulk beat the chinese version relatively easily, so I wouldn't say that he has been downplayed at all.

Ultimate Hulk could even hold his own against Ultimate Thor and that guys a badass

Read issue 8 today. Spoilers BELOW.















OK first off.

*Cap and Darkhawk didn't fight. They were close to each other for a couple of panels but thats it.

*All versions of the SS teams are weakened while together.

*Hyperion just takes a little beating at the beginning. Not much because hes weakened. Even Thor says so.

*Hulk doesn't appear till the end.

*We find out something about Doom.

*The fights between the teams are pretty lame. We are lucky to see more than 2 panels each. Some of them just get one. BUT the two Hyperions take each other one. Or a new one. I can't ****ing tell.

Over all a sucky issue.

Wait.....so the ORIGINAL Squadron Supreme (Ie : The 1970's version encountered by the Vision, Scarlet witch , Clint Goliath ect) are now interacting with Supremeverse Squdron.

The fight itself could have been good. But halfing their powers.

Hell I made a sig of the front cover and what do we get.

Hell I emailed Marvel today with the people who are working on this and told them what shit this issue was and will be getting issue 9 by other means.

And I don't even like to download new comics.

Also, I liked it. Because its one issue. Why read all issues apart from the last one.

Cheap yes. But I can sell it for more. I don't collect comics like everyone else. If I am not going to read all of them or if I probably won't read again I sell for more money.

Squadron Supreme is on bloody hold, until ths series finally comes to a close. They're getting slower with each issue.

The last issue is all in his hands, now. Apparently its everyone Vs Hulk. That means a weaker Hyperion.

Or is the Hulk bit wrong. I am so confused.

Why was the squadron weakened and why do they say the exact same things as one another? That makes no sense at all.

Still, I like seeing the original Hyperion in action.

I do agree that the issue wasn't very good. Nothing really happened at all.

between having old school Squadron Supreme- the one's who have meet 616 Captain America and the rest of the Avengers- and Black Panther going into the Zombie-verse, we are getting closer and closer to a 616/Ultimates crossover. I don't really want to see that happening.

So..on the cover of issues 8 Cap and Nighthawk are fighting, where do they fight in the comic? WTF!!!

Issue 9 sucked. This comic was better in the earlier issues but ended on a low note. The ending seemed kinda rushed.
And Fury is in the Supreme Power universe now WTF? He's like the most used character in Ultimate Marvel.

most sucky, anticlimactic ending ever!!! marvel knew what they were doing when they had all these delays......its so that ppl would forget about it. its the classic, bullshit heroes fight each other at first then coller heads prevail formula

Thing is it was a great premise. And it could have worked really well, especially as a lot of Ultimate titles have flat out sucked. The characters from the Supreme Power comics (which I'm a fan of) have the abilities to match whatever the Ultimates, the X-Men and the FF4 could throw at them but it just ended really weakly.
The only interesting thing that can come of it is if Zarda turns up in some Ultimate titles.

Does the end of this series, however weak-assed it was, mean some series will finally continue?

Ultimate Hulk vs Wolverine will never come out.

I mean there is litterly no excuse that the guy writing can use now that LOST is on hiatus due to the writers strike.

I suppose that's how most team-ups between the Avengers and the Squadron have gone over the years. I'm reminded of how Hawkeye recognized the resemblance in JLA/Avengers and figured that they were probably mind controlled.
