No one has answered my question: Can Fury take Cap?
I don't think he can, and I don't think he can take the Black Widow (Natasha anyway). There are a paltry few that can take her h2h, and I just don't think that Fury's one of them. Sure, he may have been a beast in his prime, but he's not a fighter now. He's fighting the best spy in the MU, who also happens to be peak human, and faster than Cap according to Marvel.

Can Fury take Cap? Yea, he can. For a majority? Debatable.
I do agree that there are few fighters that can take Widow h2h. DD, Fury, Cap, Elektra, Fist are all fighters who can. At least for a majority. You mention Fury being a beast in his prime, but key thing you have to remember is, Fury is pretty much always at him prime thanks to the Infinity Formula. Another thing i want to mention, is that Fury IS the best spy in the MU. Widow faster than Cap according to the MU? Running speed or fighting speed? Also, going by Marvel's judgement isnt always the best.😬
actually stats wise black widow is better in ever way save strength which there roughly equals.
She also an amazing fighter however I think fury would win 6/10 do to superior skill.
Black widow is I am not mistaken was trained by fury which will aid fury, but she was also trained by a number of others including Wolverine.

The only way Nick could beat Cap is with prep and in the instance above he still lost. Good fight though but it wasnt all the mechanical arm he showed some good skill as well.

That fight was a stalemate. Secondly, Fury wore the suit with the arm and finger torch because of Cap having a shield. He wanted to match up, weapon wise.
