What's an industy?

The film industry is ALWAYS repetitive because they need to ensure that they're making money. But there's always also good, inventive films at the same time. They will always be in the minority, but they remain there...and if anything, the number of those kinds of films has increased as Hollywood realizes that making quality films is more important than making low-budget sequels.
