She's from Battle Angel Alita, and the sequel Battle Angel Alita: The Last Order, the series si quite good I'm surprised more people haven't read it.

Yay well at least that makes the thread worthwhile, not much better than a highpowered cyborg with martial arts skills that match or exceed Shiva's.

Off topic, how would you rate Aizen's hand to hand skill? He claimed to have mastered every "style" so shouldn't he be at least as skilled as Yoruichi and/or Soi fon?

Well to be honest it's hard to know since he really hsn't ever needed to use it. But it's highly likely that at least in swordsmanship he's equal to just about any of the higher level shinigami, however I have no idea what his skill in simple hand to hand combat would be, since that doesn't seem to be what he specializes in. however I'm going to go by the golden rule of anime which is, anything you can see the minor characters doing, the main boss can do better.

Although I really think there was a lack of general skill in Bleach. Nobody has displayed any proper skill since, EVER. I can't remember anyone using a tactic since Ichigo fought Renji.

didnt battle angel alita have an anime? its been a while since i last read this manga so i cant really recall much. but isnt ms marvel uber strong and uber durable? maybe lady deathstrike vs alita would be better?

i'll have to dig through my stuff and re-read this.

Alita's receieved major upgrades in The Last Order, the anime only deals with the first series. Plus her specialty is using an opponents strength against them. In the last order She's fought some real beasts of opponents. She beat someone whose strikes do this:

if memory serves me correctly, i think she practiced some kinda lost special martial art right? she's somekinda relic from the past if im not mistaken. i dont think i have the second part of the manga. battle angel alita is a scanlation i think

She's the only surviving member of her matial arts group, she was in charge of a terrorist act on behalf of her government that killed 46 million people and disconnected those in space from those on Earth's surface. In response she was sentenced to death via immolation during rentry into earth's atmosphere, however her brain survived and she was revived a couple of hundred years later. After her act of terrorism her entire organization was destroyed by orbital bombardment, so she is the sole remaining person who knows what is considered to be the deadliest martial art in her universe.

One of the first anime i watched.. Didnt read the manga dough so i really dont know how powerfull she is but in the anime she's doesnt got what it takes to take out Ms. Marvel..

have you been looking at the scans I'm posting? Alita has more than enough power to take on Ms. Marvel. Anime Alita is about as different from manga Alita as base Alucard is from fully released Alucard.

Well if manga is similar to the anime then as i said she cant take Ms. Marvel.. Just my 2 cents..

First of all lets post a couple of pics of her fighting. In a battle against opponents who are stronger than her, Alita uses her martial arts to use her opponents strength against them. Some of the examples of this her battles against the karate master you saw above. Also keep in mind that Alita's combat skills are far far superior to Ms. Marvels.
The opponent you saw above whose arms and torso were completely destroyed in two attacks was an extremely strong karate master.

Also keep in mind that many of Alita's attack case vibrations within the opponents body and destroy them from the inside out, making Ms. marvels exterior toughness less of an issue. Also Alita's body is composed entirely of nanobots, which she can reshape at will, and which can repair her during battle, so she's can keep fighting so long as her head is not destroyed. For example here she reshapes double blades into her arms:
