Does anyone have the guide or source where it says he lifted it and then mindraped the planet to forget?

The Essential Guide to Characters, under Ysanne Isard's biography, says that he used the Force to wipe the minds of the people on Coruscant.

And if he didn't do that, then that's billions of people he would have had killed. The mind wipe makes the most sense.
